I know there are people with far worse problems than I have but I am having this problem I can't shake off. It is really getting to me.
We are trying to sell the house and looking around at what is around. We have events this month to celebrate.
I realise it is stressful buying and selling houses. It is nice to have nice events to celebrate.
I am trying to keep happy and I can get myself happy easily enough but I can't do anything about the forces and people around me chipping away at it. I won't list them as it is very boring.
To be honest I only feel happy when I don't have to mix with people and life just leaves me alone!
It is like I have to get happy and cope with the others sh*t on top. I can't cope with it - I have limits! I am not that strong.
I want to be happy and others to be happy. If they are not, I would want them to talk to me about it at an appropriate time, rather than just drag me down when I am trying to keep my head above water. I am happy to listen to people but I can't take them being a/holes because they are too scared to open up.
I realise nothing is perfect but it is relentless.
My OH brings me down just before we go out or have a viewing. I am getting to the stage I am scared to get happy.
Then if we do make it out, other people or things have a go at us.
Or a million things go wrong just to keep us bored. I will scream if someone says, that is life - it doesn't help and makes me feel even more pssed off. For 10 years it has been never ending and there has been some major stuff in that time. I feel cursed.

CCStar...have you been to your gp and spoke to them? tried counselling? I had a nervous breakdown almost 2 years ago now, and I know how you feel...sometimes I just want to go under the duvet and tell everyone to beat it! One of my friends told me that God doesn't give us things we can't cope with...it always makes me stop and think when I feel like this.
We are all here for each other...keep talking to us and if anyone wants to PM me I'm here!

Stil have some of ex's stuff, I think about her all the time at work and stuff, i wa convinced she was the girl i was to marry and have kids with. Shes back home on fri for weekend, wants to see me to give stuff back. I said id rather post it cos i still have feelings for her, and would make things a lot harder if i was to see her whilst i have these feelings.

It does help to talk about it tho', otherwise it builds up like a pressure cooker.

I find that I concentrate on my faults and flaws rather than saying "hey im really good at x, y and z" The thing about human nature is it loves faults...you just have to watch the news to see that! Drives me mad...we try so hard to be positive and get through the day.
Dont bother yourself with what you think others are saying/thinking about you!

Can I ask why you need to him to sort anything out - he clearly isn't and I know you would be more than capable without his negative forces bringing you down.
We too have been evicted from a property that has had a landlord wanting to sell. You will get your deposit back and you may have to keep renting just now.
