    afternoon peeps.. where's our sazbomb??

Nothing new to report here really... cept my washing machine's gone t*ts up and can't be fixed for two weeks.. it's just about 13 months old so I;m wondering about complaining to the manufacturer anyway

Can I just remind people to be gentle with one another on this thread.. we're all fragile emotionally and no one deserves to be smacked on the hand like a naughty child.. if you're not happy to be treated that way then don't do it to others. And for the record.. Tiffy is the coolest of the cool!

Everyone's input is valuable one way or another and should be treated with respect.

Definitely complain about washing machine. Their obligations do not end at the warranty period. The item sold must be fit for purpose and of merchandisable quality. To fail after 13 months does not seem to fit either criteria. I'm sure some other MSE'ers or CAB will be able to help better though.

I must of missed the nastiness

    Glad you are okay.

Thanks blinky.. Stenny just told me the very same thng so I'll call them tomorrow... I bought a washing machne, dishwasher and fridgefreezer all at the same time from the same manufacturer and the fridgefreezer is the only thing that hasn't caused any problems... so I won't be recommending anyone to buy Servis in future ;)

Why can't people make things that work beyond 13 months?

Just out of warranty too - give em hell

My machine is 25 years old and the door seal has perished, it happens to all machines but still works fine.

    I shall avoid Servis

    Well folks,

I've had a successful day today. Argued with BT and got back £130 for my mom - which actually they had a perfect right to have - RESULT!

Been to doctors. Got another 4 weeks note (bless him).
I have tonsilitus apparently (that's hard to swallow!). I've been given extra strong tablets for my headaches, something for virus and more ADs. He now thinks i might have glandular fever which can bring on depression - that's rubbish unless i've had glandular fever for 30 years! I'm being screened for it when i go back in 3 weeks.

This soup is lovely I tell you!

    xx

  • hello everyone, hope everyone's having pastel days and not black days.
I posted a week or two ago and everyone was really nice, thanks for the pm's they really helped. Went to see my Doc, he's sent off for an appt with the CPN, and also the dietician as I have a condition which means my bowels don't work alone-I want to try and see if my diet can be modified so that they can maybe start moving, although its medical so I doubt it.
I also went to library and get a few books that have really helped, Bloodletting and currently reading Elizabeth Wurzels latest (author of prozac nation.) Told o.h I couldn't be in a couple with him anymore,I love him dearly, but I'm not in love with him, it makes me sad, and him too. We've decided to try and just live together, houseshare, so he doesn't have to find somewhere else, and I dont have to get a 2nd job & a lodger.Which is a relief.
I'm taking each day as is, and have spoken to a couple of close friends, which has really helped. Its true what they say, a problem shared and all that. My friends have assured me they will always be there for me, and they're just at the end of the phone, if I ever need to talk. Going to focus on getting my head straight-no more black swirly edge of a precipice(sp) days for me.
    Love and hugs to all.
RIP Floyd - 19/04/09. I know i'll see you again my best friend forever.
