So where do I stand why didn't I get one - from email sorn ran out 31st october -
I suppose it would be wise to renew the sorn today0 -

It doesn't really matter though, since it is your responsibility to make sure tax/SORN is up to date. Besides, the DVLA doesn't make mistakes, therefore it must be your fault... Renewing the SORN would be a good idea, but it might be an idea to do it by form, rather than net. Then you can backdate the form, and then claim the post is at fault...Fight Crime : Shoot Back.

So it seems he won his parking appeal, but still insisted on refering the whole matter to the high court for judicial review. LOL he's got balls.
A year later and we have no more info whether the case has been accepted by the high court.
Look at this link, I'm going to print it out and read it offline, it looks quite interesting.
