just had a call from currys saying they had cancelled my reservations,the one me and my mum both did yesterday afternoon.The only problem is ive allready picked them up payed for them and mine is built with the tv on it.
they cant ask for them back,can they?

If anyone wants a Samsung one I have a spare one. I got 2 yesterday for myself & my mother, as they are black they do not go with what we have. A fellow mse is coming for 1 of them today but I still have 1 left. I live in North Tyneside if anyone is interested in collecting the other one, if not I will freecycle this week.

Syntax for email is firstname.lastname@dsgiplc.com

So that's presumably ... Peter.Keenan@dsgiplc.com and Per.Bjørgås@dsgiplc.com.

Perhaps it would be more powerful if one letter is sent with 10 or so examples of the 'service' around the country? I am sure we'd all have an interest in their response.

Whatever is done, and whatever you write make sure you stress this is their mistake not yours.

Currys are just so slow to say the least as it looks like they are ringing customers up today cancelling orders and people have picked them up yesterday.....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Surely you would think they had a way at looking on their system to see how many reservations have been collected and check the stock in store to see how many they have?

I reserved one last night from Runcorn and went to pick it up this morning, the girl on the till said, 'you know they are only for the Samsung don't you' I said yes. I had no problem, paid my 1p and they brought it out on a two wheel truck. Any TV would fit on them and its black. Can't knock Curry's at Runcorn, they were polite and said a lot of people had rang asking about them.

thanks for your replies,i didnt think they could but you never know what theyd do.they know who i am in their as they kept me waiting long enough for them to be brought out.I was absolutely bricking it for the whole 30mins they kept me waiting,i had my receipt in my hand and was ready for a war,i was even rehersing it in my head.
But no problems,two little boys brough them to me and even put them in the car!!
I would like to thank the OP for this as i should be moving into my own house soon with my DS and have absolutely nothing except for little things to take with me.As i dont have much money and im trying really hard to save this has enabled me to buy something else i would need for a new home.
All you guys on here are all amazing,and i want to thank you all for all the tips.
