Some advice for those collecting today:
Firstly..Take the Samsung TV model number with you...Go to a sales assistant and tell him that you have one and are after a stand for this TV, give him the model number of the Samsung stand as the one you would like....ask if they are sold seperately from the TV.
Then.....ask if they have any in stock....go with him to his desk and PC while he checks....
If they are in stock then you produce your printed reservation.
In hindsight this is what I wish I had done yesterday. This post was created in an area that may contain nuts!0 -

This is what i've done for collection of the philips stand i've reserved today -
Simply reserved a philips tv at another store which -
a) Doesn't show stock of the stand.
b) Isn't instock at the store i'm collecting the stand at.
I'll take both reservation print outs when collecting the stand, and have a grumble about having to travel, as my nearest store with the tv didn't have stock of the stand0 -

Arguing to try and get the stand for 1p is one thing and good luck to anyone lucky enough to get one.
But saying you're buying the TV from another store is theft and deception and in my view should not to be encouraged. I hope the stores take the details of anyone that does this and passes the information to the relevant dept to follow up to see what action can be taken against them.0 -

THEFT?

Have a read of that for a couple of weeks.
Charging £300+ for a 3 year warranty, the 1st year of which is free anyway, is a lot nearer theft.
EDIT:
Just noticed your username. Taking it hard are we?

I say fair play to someone that sells one as it's idiots on ebay that join up to spoil someones auction and they are in the wrong as it's against ebay rules for intentionally ruining an auction
What right does someone have to spoil someones auction no matter what they are selling as long as it's legal to sell on ebay and they are paying ebay fees etc.......NONE
Just looked at one of your previous posts and noticed you also place false bids on ebay which is out of order, hope the seller reported you....lol
Even though the auction you ruined was a dodgy one you should just report it to ebay and let them remove it rather than placing false bids.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=3850341#post3850341I just went into Ebay using an old ebay id account and entered max bid as 999.99 . Someone has outbid me now though but just going to enter another bid for £5k , yeah , just done it and am now the high bidder again0 -
i went though quidco and its tracked 1p :rotfl: now will i get my 1.5%I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0

I totally agree with you, everybody has the right to sell what they choose, whether they paid 1p or £1000 for it originally. What do we all use this site for, to try to keep money in our pockets surely. If at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

If people are wrecking these auctions them they are pathetic, childish and wrong.
The sellers are doing nothing illegal or immoral.
The only people to lose out are Currys ( good ) and because people are jealous that they did not get one they are resorting to becoming internet moral police.
Grow up.S!!!!horpe0 -
I am glad someone sees my point rather than kicking off that people ar selling one of these stands to make a little profit, think it's a case that some people get jealous that someone has got one and decide to sell it on.
It just made me laugh when people are moaning all the time at how wrong these sellers are
I sell a few DVD's on ebay that if I watch them and don't like them then I sell them on and for instance if I paid £2 in the shop and it sold on ebay for £5 I must be as equally as bad for making a profit.....lol
Ebay should improve their site by not allowing people to ruin auctions by opeing shill accounts as their should be more in the way of verification to open an ebay account i.e. verify with a credit card and if they make false bids they get charged automatically for it as this would cut down on the amount of idiots on ebay who purchase something with no intention of paying0 -
And another thing:rotfl:
The people of Britain who genuinely bid on these will be gaining by getting a stand, THAT THEY NEED, a lot cheaper. Everyone wins.
As I said only Currys lose out.S!!!!horpe0
