Ah..it's the water of life
Me too. I am curious to see whether the closeness of the polls are borne out by the eventual reality.

Hmmm lets see how I get on with this
Weekend romping away again.....I am sure mine only have 20 hours in each day.
Started with a takeaway last night - almost regretted as soon as I had bought cos the only reason was that I hadnt really planned food very well previous weekend, did a half shop and winged it - regretted the cost rather than the food. However some left over so I have frozen it and it will do for lunches. One reason for not planning is that OH has decided to go back to the veg box scheme we were in a few years ago but decided to stop it as we couldn't get through the amount of veg in one week - fixed size box - small or large and no ideas what to expect apart form usual staples like potatoes and onions..........anyway doing it again and its a right PITA as now collection is a Friday.............. for £9 we got potatoes onions large bag of tome ( I am he only one who eats them) 2 beetroots, large bag of spinach, runners, mangetouts( getting a bit big now) a small pumpkin, some bay ( have our own) broccoli the size of a football and a huge amount of kale which I cannot abide - too worthy! I like cabbage etc but find kale too tough even when very finely shredded. I think its worth £9 but I still have last weeks broccoli, toms and mangetouts - the runners I put in compost............ho hum will have to put my thinking cap on - I feel a lot of soup in the offing.
My private challenge will be an extra £10 each week to The Debt up until Christmas ( is there really only 97 sleeps to go Starnac.....well 96 now I guess!) - not sure if this will be to the same CC or spread across the 3. I am leaning to it being the same one.
OK quick mooch around the boards then I am off to do some housework.......Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Glorious day here again today:) DD2 off to walk up The Biggest Mountain. OH off to take part in his extreme sport of choice and I am paying the price of having a lazy afternoon with friends eating cake - charity fundraiser..........got some work to catch up on when really I would like to be out an about - will have to balance it out today otherwise I may well just go mad.............
Another 0.25% paid but things are tight leading up to pay day now.

Being spoilt now with the weather........these lovely sunny warm clear sky days and chilly-enough-to-put-the-log-burner-on nights are just perfect! cant see it lasting much longer. Today I have had to water some of the border as some of the autumn flowers are beginning to look a little thirsty!
Have been mostly sorting out the conservatory - got rid of a lot of carp into bin or recycle or CS bag. Given it a bit of a vacuum and washed the cats beds - much to their disgust. They took themselves off to have a sneaky sleep in DD1 room and I had to turf them off the bed and persuade them to 'get outside into the sunshine' like a pair of truculent teenagers!
Also been a human food processor in between - have cooked up 6lbs of damsons and 3 lbs of apples ( windfalls) starined it all and frozen it - bit of an experiment - havent time or jars to make jelly but I am hoping at a later date I will............hmmm we will see if it works! Also made about 4 pints of cheese and broccoli soup - eating some tonight and think I have processed all the rest of the veg from box - beetroot cooked for sandwiches. Toms roasted with garlic and stored in oil for pasta sauce.Spinach will be used tomorrow. Beans and mangetout parboiled and frozen and will be thrown into soups. Just pumpkin and kale to deal withHavent shopped this weekend - am putting in a click and collect order for tomorrow.
Three lines of washing dried and a half hour in the sunshine reading a book..............Productive day on the domestic front but not so on the work front - consequently have a shed load of work to do for tomorrow - feel myself having to wing it a little
OH and DD2 home soon I guess. DD2 called to say she was off The Biggest Mountain now and heading to friends house. Will need picking up later - hoping OH in area and can be taxi service!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Hell. That was a Monday I really dont want to repeat...frogs biting literally! Already short staffed - employers dragging feet on replacement as need to cut budgets but in the meantime 'can you take on these extra 3 'feral' frogs' - !!!!!!!
Anyway decided that mountains looked too inviting on way home so after turning left off Big Road I decided to keep going and head off to one of my favourite spots - sprinted ( no not really but walked pretty quickly) up mountain path to favourite lake just to catch last of the sun..........wont be many more days for a while when I still get home in the light . I appreciated why I choose live here area and breathed in as much peace and tranquillity as I could to help put my world to right. Dont know where I got the energy from but the walk was sorely needed or I was likely to come home and strangle something...............
Wont be in work tomorrow.Feeling sorry for my hard working colleagues as Micro Manager will be sniffing around and if we have a situation like today, making it 10 times worse.
Hospital tomorrow for a full body bone scan. Not worried things like that dont bother me - more worried that I will fall asleep:rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
