Uggh. So sorry to hear about your carp day but excellent move  to slide off the road and run up a mountain...that gets my full approval:)

Hospital trip done - making the most of a 'bonus' half day at home and tackling domestic issues:) OH car started to make an awful noise..........:( so its in the garage but whatever it is will cost. New cars are in the Big Plan but not for another 18 months or so. Got to the money pit stage unfortunately and we cant do without.........the downside of living where we do sadly.
Limping to pay day but still PADding as there is enough food in the house. The only thing I spend money on these days are essential bills and food and the !!!@*!* cars .....cut back on everything else and the envelope system being used for other stuff - DD2 interests, vet bills , hair cuts etc.
Autumnal dampness in the air. Lawns covered in toadstools and fairy rings this morning...have brought the deck chairs in;)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

More carp sorting/throwing/recycling/selling planned this weekend. Have a trip over the border to a large city hospital.........hoping now this will be the last one to a 'new' dept to investigate the headaches............

Typical. On a day I dont need to get up at silly o'clock and have a day at home I wake up at usual alarm time with a banging headache.Have been headache free for about 2 weeks too! Oh well something to tell the new consultant tomorrow............I suspect this head ache is something to do with hydration. Havent been very good about it last couple of days.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Decided to have a paperwork day AGAIN! Its getting a bit out of hand AGAIN! An AGIAN I will not touch OHs pile of paper slowly covering the coffee table as apparently he 'doesnt have any as he deals with it straight away' - I am making a silent protestBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Trip to Big City Hospital all OK - headaches are indeed migraines and nothing sinister. Just need a few 'lifestyle' changes...less caffeine - drink 2 cups of coffee a week and go weeks without touching tea;like chocolate but cant remember the last time I had any; not a r*d bull/coca col*/!ron Br* kinda person and after a try of L8caz*de following a 40 year break can honestly say I wont be touching it again! So reduce caffeine hardly going to make a difference. Reduce stress - Pah... fat chance! Hydrate more..............hmmm herein lies the clue methinks.
Just had a statement from a CC with has a very small amount on which I quietly pay the minimum each month and occasionally throw a load of rubble at it when I am going into The Town. Guess what? Somehow missed paying last month and have been hit with a late payment charge  My own fault and I am kicking myself now.
Lunch today was olives, cheese, anchovies, artichokes and bread. Sat in a warm sunny garden scented with rosemary, thyme, oregano and lavender. Cant believe its the end of September - bliss. Feels like being back in the homeland;)
Right back to chores and exercising the debt busting muscle.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Good news re the hospital appt. Very glad.
A while ago I missed a.payment, most unusual but I phoned up immediately I realised, said I had been away (which was true..maybe you can mention your stressful job and health scare), and they removed the fee. Worth a go?
Agree re weather...good for it to be 4:30 and don't feel like having to put the stove onMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
