Actually there is one mahoosive frog which is taking some chewing......HOWEVER the thing that has been been stopping me has now been sorted and it is not even remotely related to it....I had 'lost' some important course resources and notes for something I did in June and is now coming to a end and needs submitting....I was beginning to lose all hope of finding it convinced I had put it all in the recycling at work at the start of the summer hols when there is the traditional clear out. Any way its turned up :j:j Weird how it was blocking me doing other stuff....feel like a weight has been lifted.
On money front....still filling in that spreadsheet. Still tucking away the change into change pots. Still squirrelling money into envelopes for some expenditures. Still working out how to best use the 2 0%BT offers I have got this week. Still over paying CCs. Still got 2 thirds of salary left in bank account going into second week of month. Still only bought a mop bucket so far in 2019. Still decluttering:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I am having to pinch myself a little.......surely filling in a spread sheet with incoming and outgoings re money cant have made such a huge difference  For the last couple of years I have been religiously using cash only for food shops and sticking to the budget and over paying all CCs and saving a bit of cash for EF. The only things I have changed are that I now fill in a spread sheet and have become a little bit more disciplined with the 'envelope' system. Oh and I also said I would not be buying ANY clothes or shoes this years ( but I am not a great clothes buyer...more shoes but not wildly) and I paid my overdraft with a 0%money transfer as it was costing me nearly £100/month and even paying the MT at almost £80/month I still have a healthy bank balance half way through the month...hmmm. Not complaining but I feel something might just implode!!
I followed some :money: advice and opened a high interest savings account - easy access no set monthly amount.........OMG I wish I had gone with a bank I heard of and not what :money: recommended. It is taking ages to set up...I get multiple emails all saying the same thing. Then multiple emails saying I haven't responded to the emails that say 'no need to respond'. They have my contact details wrong and the password kept being kicked out so I had to ring and set it up again then I had a letter to say this is how to sort it out then an email to say they cant contact me to sort it out..........seriously thinking of not bothering and put my EF elsewhere!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

So today is the start of my spring clean aspirations. I do do this every year with various degrees of enthusiasm. Its always weather dependent as I would rather be outside but I am resisting visiting the The Sheds which are ready for a clear out again as I will be distracted - house needs attention more. However they will be visited this week as I intend to keep the momentum going with Eb*y. " more items sold this week.
I now have about 10 days off work largely uninterrupted with away from the home activities so no excuses.......first thing I did was sign up to a raft of classes at the gym next week........distraction. Next I have arranged a couple of meet ups with friends not seen in a while...........distraction and now just made myself a couple of appointments - hair and GP both of which can wait -..........more distraction and next week looks pretty full:rotfl:
Just going to make myself a real frothy coffee and write a plan/lists............distraction!
First on list will be reschedule appointments...they can wait:D
Money wise - I dont want to tempt fate - but all OK! Money in the bank and on target:eek:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

So cancelled the appointments. Started to make a plan but felt a bit meh yesterday - just a drop in energy so mooched around the garden making a few plans. Still procrastinating today but feeling a bit more energised...lets see if I can get onBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

End of the month and a third of salary left..........I am truly amazed!
Not going to fritter it away, it will be tucked away out of sight I think
Still havent managed to sort out high interest savings account al la :money: and think I might just stick my savings bits in an ordinary on line saver account I already have.........I mean I am not saving 1000's here. So boo :money: that was an epic fail. Hasnt cost me anything.....just time!
Have moved some hefty CC sums onto new 0% cards good till 08/21. One of those is a LOB card I have had for a few years and up to now I have never had enough 'wriggle' room to move it onto 0% as other cards had much higher interest rates as they came to the end of the 0% offer and always took precedence....so I feel as if I am making progress AT LONG LAST....well I hope so and nothing jumps up to bite me
Have been enjoying the garden for a few days - its WINTER and I am under no illusion it will be back very soon.
Hospital appt last week positive - no need to return for 3 years. Tomorrows appoint is another matter.....depending on outcome I may ask for a second opinion and go private:oBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
