Just had that conversation with DD1 - 'Well I am beginning to feel like XXX ( town where DD1 at uni) is like home now' So I feel a bit about that
I have been expecting it for a few months now and its her roundabout way of saying 'you were right about doing a degree mum I am going on to do a Masters so will need a bit more funding'. So I feel a bit about that!! OH and I always said we would help financially with both DDs for 5 years of education post A levels although we have never told this to the off spring so they dont take it as given And this only because its looking increasingly likely DD2 will be doing a 5 year undergrad course and also a degree, however good, doesnt seem to be enough currency in the job market these days............ so to be fair to both............. DD1 has already said she will be applying for grants and scholarships etc
Anyway a lot of thinking to do. First a coffee made by OH and a croissant before I start the day me thinks

Actually I started the day at 3.30am - couldn't sleep and when I finished trawling internet I decided to do the early morning run to MrT at 5.30 am so it feels like mid afternoon already

Managed swim today - by default really as had a bonus day off due to hospital appointment - another scan on another part of my body.

Why is it I always get to share the lane with the hairy torpedo. Heck the bow wave every timed he ploughed past was like a ruddy tsunami. This is second only to elderly ladies who have no sense of lane discipline and wear ill fitting-sagging-in-the-wrong-places swim wear - invest in some decent Lycra I say ( men too) Not that I have anything against the elderly keeping fit - just keep to your side of the lane and your body parts safely inside your swimwear - puhlees:eek:

Scan went OK. Radiographer not giving anything away but I have a blood test which goes in conjunction with the scan which came back all clear so I am hopeful, everything is all OK :) Will give GP a call in a couple of days.

Need to get back to the GMP for 2012 and reassess. Hmmmm will leave that til weekend I think. Just come back from yoga and it always makes me want to go straight to bed - best nights sleep always follows yoga :D

Since putting panels in our electricity consumption off the grid has gone down by 20% compared to this time last year :) :j

 Hello! I've hunted you down too :p

I haven't been to yoga for years. I remember falling asleep during the warm down the very 1st time I went. I woke myself up snoring!! Usually it takes me forever to get comfy and fall asleep, but put me in a yoga class or on the bed when my friend does reiki and I'm gone!

I would drive myself mad checking the meters if I had solar panels! That's brill you've made such a huge saving already.
One step at a time ;)

DD2 does ours!! She likes to tell me when the peak generation period was and how much we made. The monitor is always next to her place at the table!!

    She's 8!!

It is a brilliant thing. Am very happy with ours even though some insulation would have been more sensible insulation would not have been as much fun!

Off to put some washing on now and take advantage of the sun creeping through....

    Have a great weekend

We have quickly adapted to using the electric as much as we can during daylight hours too especially during the week - DW on timer etc. Where in past I would have put it on in the evening or over night. Phones are charged during the day too :) Guess this will changed for a while once the days are longer and we are home during daylight hours
