The sword of Damacles has just slipped a little closer. Huge re organisation cost cutting excercise going on and as yet I cant see where I fit in i.e. a future role and no booger has any answers just vague pathetic 'ers and ums' and statements like 'this is only a proposal' - my bum it is. 25 years of service and experience about to go down the drain me thinks. Not quite sure what to do after I have gone to the bottom of the garden and screamed........cry probablyBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Struggling to get anything done! A very disorganised ,disjointed week for me and all plans have come to nothing. Trying to get a job application done and I am really carp at selling myself. Even carpier in interviews when I just get completely tongue tied and sound like an idiot who really doesnt know what I am talking about

Have looked at job spec and person spec and cant find anything in there that I cant do and some of it with bells and bows on. Going to make some biscotti and other yummy things to take to friends tonight and while I am absorbed in that I will start mentally composing the applicationBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Well my very good friend came up with the goods over a coffee in her lunch break - went through CV and job/person spec and I do have the qualities.expereince and qualifications they need!Deep down I know all this but its good to hear it from elsewhere ( even if it is a good friend) Feeling more positive but must not think about a niggle at the back of my mind as I have been here before with this lot and they are notorious for appointing those they already know.................. Friend has offered to check over application when I have done it just to make sure I am not under selling myself
OK off to make biscotti a la MG for a gathering of friends tonight - its a cheap night out in IYSWIM! Contribution cheese drinks and nibbles at someones house - we are all ( well nearly all) skint and cant afford to go out but need to get together for a natter;)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Phew just finished my letter of application for a job I would really like. It has my name stamped all over it but I have a sneaky suspicion that the present incumbent has been earmarked for it
But decided after much thinking that I had to go for it. I am going to be so p!ssed if I dont get an interview
Just giving myself a little break ( and a piece of cake!) and a mooch round the threads before I add a couple of things to my CV and let OH proof readBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
