I seem to be on schedule and bang on target with plans so far. I am sure its the new clarity - I am not fighting the brain fog and fatigue. Every holiday, I would say for the last 10 years, has been one of trying to recharge batteries and catching up with jobs, chores, friends and life......but never quite making it. I am sure, no, I KNOW that this has led to the build up of debt, the accumulation of 'stuff' and some general disharmony. I feel as if I can crack this now. Before, I knew what I had to do but found the whole roller coaster thing energy sapping - did all the right things, said all the right things but somehow it all got lost in the 'fog'. Now I feel better equipped to continue.
I am not tricking myself into believing this is it,the end is in sight as I know there will be some highs and lows, but I feel this clarity of thought is going to help speed things up:D
Anyway.......all makes sense to me.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

3 words describe today - productive productive productive
Haven't yet got stuff up on Eb*y but its ready to go and very quick using a tablet maybe I will get it done whilst watching a bit of TV tonight...or maybe I will just collapse with a small glass of red.
The 7.5 hour slow cooked lamb was deelish even though I say so myself and I think there is enough left for a meal tomorrow night with cauli cheese and spiced red cabbage which I will take out of freezer as that was left over from a mid week meal last week - love that stuff and very economical - will have fed 3 of us in 3 different meals - Rick Steins recipe with some personal adaptations - who knew damson jam would be a handy substitute for his prescribed bramble jelly
Have had a look through the food cupboards and need another list - haven't bought many 'stores' since Christmas really but did splurge a bit on some bargains I found in Ald! - not a fan usually but I go there for work stuff and thought I would stock upSo a list and a meal plan beckons. Doest seem that long since I went through the freezers either - think there has been a bit of a build up of frozen left overs which I can address this week - DD2 has been taking stuff with her to uni so she can have a meal with her uni friends after lectures/sports etc which has been handy.

And today I crashed............:rotfl: Well in truth I went to hairdressers this morning. They tried their best to persuade me to go for the full shebang but I stood my ground - 6 months ago I would have given in  I am happy with outcome but felt the hairdresser was a little 'rough' with the unnecessary, extra large, particularly spiky hairbrush  never used a brush like that before....but I am made of sterner stuff
After appointment I have just pottered and pondered - done a few work chores and sat down and read a book for an hourSo maybe not crashed as such but paced myself a little - feel a bit of energy to do some Eb*ying tonight as it got missed last night and I have a small pile of paperwork to sort. Finances look as grim as ever but a lot better than if I had dished out a 3 figure sum at the hairdressers

Well done on the stout resistance to having more done that you wanted at the hairdressers...and brilliant news about the lack of 'fog' and general energy levels.. Go Ig!! :TMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

So the OH, who according to the GP 'needs to sort out his work life balance', came home last night and announced he had been asked if he fancied a long weekend in a southern European country- this weekend - doing his extreme sport hobby.........hmmmm I dont have an issue with that but by the end of the night it has turned into a trip starting Thursday evening and returning the following Friday. Just like that. Drop of a hat stuff. Seems to have sorted his WLB out but not finances  I think he guessed from my body language I am not doing airport runs..............DD2 will also be away for most of next week and I am kinda looking forward to a bit of breathing space - just me and the furries for a few days
Will live out of the freezer so no shopping needed other than some fresh fruit.
Have been to deposit my collection of £2 coins today - paid off a CC. Had £140 but could only deposit 5 bags:mad: But £100 is a fair chunk - I pay £25 by DD off that one so that brings it 4 months closer to being paid off. However card will not take the DD as I have made an 'interim' payment - how dare I !! So I have set up an online payment for the usual DD day. Ha!! Just one sticky moment - cashier passed through a receipt and I signed then noticed it said £60 - so I questioned it and asked her how many bags I had given her. She said 5 and I pointed out £20 in each bag makes £100 - she had weighed it too. Her response? "Well you have signed it to say its correct"........... cue descent of red mist  It was sorted after I gave her my "You cannot be serious stare" :rotfl: I was assured it would have been picked up at close of business and traced back to me..............I have no faith in that statement. Anyway I have £40 in £2 bagged up ready for next trip;)
2 bags of clutter to CS. I bought a very cheap top and have already got it on Eb*y for 3 x as much as I paid and its got a buyer.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
