Am so looking forward to spring to take away some of the glumness, though it's going to be another confused year for some things that flowered two months early in December!

£400 on ebay sales is amazing - you must have had some good stuff to sell and patience despite the eejit buyers!

Errr.......you know when you think 'well I have a new plan a new focus and a few fun challenges ti help the boredom of debt busting and then the suspension on your 10 year old goes...........' yep I had that today:mad: DD2 driving on her own at the time and had a blow out too so tyre had it. OH really not helpful in making her feel as if it was her fault :mad: So I calmly - the new 2017 me - pointed out that I was grateful it happened where and when it did rather than 3am on a dual carriageway, busy with commercial overnight port traffic Hummph!!

The car is over 10 years old .We have had from new and up until July 2015 I was doing about 25 000 mile a year in it. It owes us nothing. So we need a new one. Seemples...........not where OH is concerned. DD1 and OH drive it now as I am the commuter and have the 2 year old car. It will have to be repaired as it will take some time to decide what to do - OH is the ditherer. Its with local garage and luckily he is happy to take payments in installments.

So I am going back to thinking !!!!!! do I have to do to get rid of this debt:eek::mad::mad::eek:

So refocus. Re assess and look at the plan again.............

First sale of the year on Eb8y - currently £1.20 with 10 hours to go :rotfl: Well every little helps both with the debt and the de clutter ;)

Gawd to the car. Just what you needed (not) and so stressful. At least it was less pricy to fix than I had originally feared for you.

I am plotting and planning financial stuff every waking moment it feels. Alongside paid work and OH off overseas its a bloody responsibility I tell you. When do I get time off for good behaviour! :);)

Stressy stressy work issues fill my head at the moment. I work in a highly charged often stressful work environment - my choice for the last 30 years - but sometimes things get thrown in your path like a police car chase stinger that really dont need to be there. We have 'teflon coated' work colleague who makes life difficult for lots of people as they are very manipulative and adept in getting their own way in everything they do. They are a frequent 'runner' to the Idiot in Charge with b!tchy, stirry tales and the Idiot in Charge for a quiet life gives in EVERY TIME and then aplogises to everybody by saying "well....you know what XXX is like..." Yes I do - a smiling assassin and everybody hates working with them but is too frightened to say:mad::mad:

Unfortunately since The Idiot in Charge has been on LOA since Sept I have taken up the reigns and XXX has bumped up against something that cant be manipulated. I expect the STHIF next week and I am not sure if I am ready for it:(

Sorry a bit of a vent which has nothing to do with debt, but I need to vent! Actually it does have a lot to do with debt busting as while this plagues my thoughts I cant concentrate on anything else:mad:

Oh no Igamogam, your job sounds very stressful. Is there any update on your boss returning?

Just checking in very quickly. The possible SHTF event didnt really happen.......bit of a damp squib if I am honest:o All about nothing at all. I could make such a thing about it but have decided to stick to 'revenge is a dish best served cold'...........

Just been doing some hasty BTs. Whilst my eye was off the main event ( debt) I managed to succumb to some interest:mad: and lost out on a 21 month BT which is now only a 15 month. Oh well better than nothing.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul at the moment. Had another car 'incident' - had to have all 4 tyres changed on my car. Now as I do 500 miles a week I need some decent rubber on each corner...........just as 4th tyre going on OH text to say put the cheapest on as car is being traded in in a couple of months. TBH I hadnt thought of that....oops! So I instructed the rather exasperated tyre removal person to swap them all for budget tyres:o So that £200 instead of £450 :D

Food budget is working well though and low carb means I have dropped 4lbs.

Paid £60 off a CC in 20p's saved in money box. Bank cashier didnt even weigh them:rotfl: I have a tin of 5p's next and the £1 dragons and £2 tins are getting full again too.........love this use cash only malarkey,it creates so much loose change!
