Went to work today..........nobody else did  Its a training day but The Idiot in Charge failed to tell me all those due in today - 3 of us - could work from home....... doesnt come close. I cracked on with a few things which was handy as there would be no interruptions and endless stops for tea/coffee which I dont drink at work anyway. Left at lunch time smug in the knowledge I will be one step ahead tomorrow morning. So I will turn up 'on time' rather than the hour earlier than needed, which I usually do.........that will give them a scare :) Can also get some chores finished at home too which I thought would have to wait until next weekend.

Grr that is annoying. But at least, like you said, you are ahead of yourself now so that's a bonus. Silver lining and all that

Well done. Do you get to keep that or does it go to the charity?

Wey hey to that haul of sales!! And love the work in the garden. That all sounds really promising (and I love damsons so am very envious )

Boo to the 'not needed' start back at work. I would have thrown a right temper tantrum. Sheer incompetence

That's amazing. Our local NCT sales charge £5 registration plus 30% and are always clash with family birthdays. DS and DD are also still reluctant to part with they early books which fill every corner of the house! I did get them at Christmas to bag up the ones we could get rid off, they only managed a couple of carrier bags out of the possible hundreds :(.

    Have a good week

I must be a bad mum then as I sort out their books and toys while they are in school. I box up things that I haven't seen them play with for a while and hide the box. If they don't come looking for a particular item in a certain amount of time then the box goes to charity.

Now DD is older (8) she can be swayed by incentive. Last year she had a good (for her) sort out when I told her that the money I made from selling them would go in the Disney Land pot. She was very impressed with herself when we actually went to Disney as she knew she had helped to pay for us to go ;)
