Have grasped the nettle..........now to deal with the ensuing rash

Waaah! Procrastination in charge here today! I have managed to tidy up some niggling jobs but not really taken advantage of a long day being left to my own devices today. Enjoying playing around with sp*tify!!! I am working on the basis that music is good for the soul and my soul is in need of attention at the monent.
Have now got the debt across 3 0% CCs - has been across five pretty much but small amounts have now been tidied up and I have closed to CC accounts
I really must get my arris into gear and use Eb8Y or another selling platform to get rid of some excesses.......have dumped a lot at CS in last few months and have got boxes of stuff ready for a charity fundraiser in a weeks time - 15% sales donated to a charity I volunteer with. In the past I found selling has always been a good source of extra income, but slow...........I have been on a huge declutter operation for over 12 months - it waxes and wanes:o but I am getting thereMade easier by getting inspiration from this lovely thread - supportive, non judgmental, funny and inspiring
I have learnt a lot about myself in 12 months - stuff I already knew if truth be told, but was afraid to admit to but I am happy and not bonkers and thats good to know:D
The hardest part has been trying to educate the people around me, closest to me......and I am an 'educator'!!!! Mad frogs at work are easierWe are not a family who wear hearts on our sleeves. We all work hard and play hard, but separately I guess:o
Woaaah....sinking into navel gazing.....think the music I have playing on sp*tify might influencing it:rotfl::rotfl: Time to change the track!
Right. I told myself I had to achieve 2 things this holiday and I am part way through both so no excuse......up and at it. Sooner they are done the better I will feelBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Well done you. Bay of E has not been good to me at the moment but hope it proves better for you.
Have just subscribed to the KM thread (given your post) and look forward to reading. Had the book but didn't have a bolt of lightning moment... Having said that the inserting philosophy is gorgeous. Can definitely buy into that.
Hope you're enjoying the garden.

I dont buy into KM'd ideas wholesale..........I find her a little strange:o But the basic idea is sound. I couldnt finish the book as it made me grit my teeth:rotfl: It has made me look at things, not just possessions , differently and for the better. Faild on the Eb*y front............got distracted but did take a large bag of bits and pieces to Oxf*m and have calculated that about 200 items have now 'left the building' since January:rotfl:
Meeting up with some friends to day for lunch so trying to get as much done as poss this morning housework wise. I watched the Beeb 1 program last night with Angela Rippon about ageing..............hmm think lunch time chat will be interesting!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

In total agreement about the panic buying for 24 hour closures, especially when you hear how much people throw away afterwards  I also avoid going on hot sunny days when everyone decides it might be their only chance that year to BBQ:rotfl:
I had a go at KM'ing while back, but couldn't stick to it:( I am not a good "Finisher":rotfl:

I found a bit Starnac but very late in the day, went to bed about 1am and I think I have used it all up now:eek: Going to have to be methodical today and write a list so as not to waste the time - back to work tomorrow. Would like to be on top of the game at the start of the week ad not feel as if I am cashing my tail all week!
I have a charity sale on next weekend which I help organise so need to get all my side of it sorted as much as possible to day - there are going to be few emails and FB posts flying back and forth today:rotfl: Also need to to go shopping - uurgh. Avoided it yesterday by eeking out what was in fridge, which is a good thing, but means I must do it today. Have 2 parcels to send on their way, WM needs to go on, quick kitchen clean which I usually do whilst listening to Archers omnibus............however I have listening it during the week and really couldnt listen to all that again  Friend is asking to meet up for a local stroll. Think I will have to put her off:o Would like to get some jobs done in the garden but dont see that happening either, but they are not urgent and I could really do with sorting some household paper work............at the end of 2 and half weeks holiday I seem to have as much to do as I did at the beginning:(
Right.Pay a PAD, breakfast, get dressed, write a list, and get cracking.......inspiration..........yoohoo.................I am coming to find you............Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Well I did find inspiration......it was lurking in an old gnarly damson tree that needed some attention
The result is an old play shed had now been reduced to fire wood. Above mentioned damson tree has had some much needed TLC and must be breathing a sigh of relief as we have cut down the ivy that was beginning to strangle it. The whole area has been swept and pondered about as we have now gained a large piece of hard surfaced area ( slate ) that gets the sun in the evening - have come up with some plans which involves rebuilding the dry stone wall - luckily OH use to earn a living doing such things - and planting lots of things in nice pots and rehousing some garden furniture
We haven't been in this part of the garden for about 20 years!!.
Its been great to be outside all day - inside looking a wreck but a Sunday roast is on and I can feel the vit D coursing throughout the veinsWork tomorrow now not looking too bad!
