Contradiction, the odd line of coke does not make an addict, addict means addicted to.
That means anyone having the odd glass of wine is an 'alcy' then.
Are you teetotal? If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in

Admittedly I haven't read the entire thread so please point out to me if there is a post stating there are dirty syringes around the home/children.If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in

When she visited her sister, with the kids, she was apparantley (in her sisters words) 'high as a kite'....and she'd driven the children about 25 miles there. So putting the kids at risk. So I'm assuming she's doing it at home when the kids are there.
My brother has asked nephew what he does when he's at the BF house, have they been out, or done anything together? He always says nothing....he watches tv in the living room, or plays xbox, his mum and her BF are always in their bedroom and niece is in her bedroom. Says its boring but 'alright'. Seems to be the word he's using most to describe it there at the moment.
I used to work with my SIL years ago in a clothes shop and we both still keep in touch with everyone that works there. I was attending a wedding of one of the women there (to which SIL wasn't invited as isn't as close to her as I am) and she said that SIL had been in to have a big spend up on clothes, and that she seemed completely out of it. She was buying mini skirts and bodycon dresses and saying that they were just for the bedroom, as her new man likes her to dress up. She then showed her lots of stuff she'd purchased from AnnSummers. Bearing in mind I hadn't told this woman anything about what had gone on with SIL, she had already come to her own conclusions!
So I do believe all the sex stuff is going on when kids are there too. Who knows what they're hearing/seeing.
Thw whole debate some of you are having over the affect of nicotine/alcohol vs drugs is fair enough. She's been sniffing Ketamine and M-kat, plus cocaine. I know whats worse.
makemewise, I totally agree with you.Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference

I couldn't stand by and not do something if she's driving under the influence of drugs.0 -
Well she's denied it. And brother didn't see it, it was just what her sister said. After SIL left sisters house, the sister phoned their dad to say how worried she was about her, and the dad called SIL saying whats all this I'm hearing, SIL rang brother and went mad saying not to gossip about her with her sister....then she started crying about how she'd lost her house and her job and she was depressed......its just completely messed up. Brother lost it with her on the phone, and said if I ever find out you're taking drugs around the kids, I'm coming to get them. Hung up on her while she was sobbing. Its all about proving the drug taking. Which is impossible. Solicitor said hire a private dectective....but if she's taking drugs in her home, how does that help?Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference

Very sadly all the above screams out that this womans drug taking is way beyond being just recreational. She seems to have this urge to shock and be the centre of attention. What kind of woman walks into a shop and starts speaking so explicitly about her sex life. Apart from anything else, if its that good you dont need to brag about it. Its a prime example of someone who has no control over themselves or their judgement.
She has two kids who are at very vulnerable and impressionable ages. By your reactions to what is happening OP and your brothers I can easily tell the kids have not been exposed to all this through their childhoods. Most parents worry about who their kids are coming into contact with amongst their peers. I bet your brother is shocked to the core that the main bad influence on his children is currently their own mother.
If this carry on is picked up on by the kids school it will be viewed very badly. Your sil is taking stupid risks and needs someone to point this out to her before the authorities do.0 -
If she's leaving the house 'as high as a kite' and getting in the car, the police could be called. It's the same as watching a drunk stagger out of the pub and seeing them drive away. Easy catch for the police and a menace off the road.0

I do think that I will suggest to my brother about speaking to the school. Niece is starting Year 7 in September, same school as nephew, nephew going into year 10.
makemewise, she was always a very good mum, brilliant, they both had parenting down perfectly and the children are a credit to them. Polite, confident, well-mannered and just gorgeous (I may be biased haha), everyone who meets them comments how lovely they are. Some days my brother mentally cannot get his head around how she's behaving and it really gets to him. He feels completely helpless.
Mojisola, I totally agee with you, nothing would make me more happy than having her arrested and give her a sharp shock, but the only person who saw that happen was her sister....as worried as she said she was, she didn't call the police or try to stop her. Aside from camping outside her house every day, waiting for her to leave then calling the police, hoping she's high (believe me, I'd do it in a minute if I knew it would be definiate!!), I'm just out of options.Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference

obviously not in your book but in many it does. like i say druggys will say anything to convince themselves that theyre not an addict. even if they rely on 'the odd line of coke' to have a good time, week in week out.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
