I used to use mine to get money off in the shop until I discovered this site. I dont use Tesco all that often as Asda is more convenient ie can get in and out before work etc, but i do make a trip approx every month to see what "bargains" they have. I also use them at Christmas to buy some of the more expensive items I have to buy, such as Printers etc as they have good offers on. This usually nets me £10 per quarter in vouchers which I exchange for restaurant vouchers (£40). We love our free nights out!

I guess it just depends on what you need at the time or what you'd prefer to do with the vouchers/deals!
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

Ive not had to pay for a holiday for the last two years since i started using my points as deals. I save enough to go to Majorca with Cosmos during the summer and went to switzerland with Leger holidays for New Year. I know you have to pay brochure price which may not be the cheapest way to book but if you collect enough points to cover the whole cost its like having a free holiday.:j

HI does anyone know if I an just buy kitchen appliances at mfi without buying kitchen units. I have looked at the terms and conditions and cant see aything that says you cant. Any help would be appreciated

    thanks

I have bought a range cooker, and extractor from MFI using deals vouchers, I did not have to pay for delivery and I received a free intergrated D/W, which I did not want and later sold on. The cooker in question was no dearer in the sale than my local John Lewis, albeit they would have given me a 2 year gtee foc.
The trick is to haggle with the sales guy, dont let on you are using vouchers untill the very last minute. I usually sit there with my credit card in my hand during the transaction, then whip the vouchers out of my handbag.

Awaiting delivery of 2 leater sofas and associated lounge furniture, managed to negotiate free delivery and reduced delivery (2 seperate orders) and received 2 free flat screen TVS.

IN MFI ITS A CASE IF YOU DONT ASK YOU DEF DONT GET.

  • We use ours for holidays. I have taken my Mum to Paris for 5 nights, a week in Warmwell, a long weekend in Cornwall and hotels stays. We are off to Portugal in April for a week in a villa. All totally paid for by Tesco vouchers. We get on average £100 at one time, so not a really big point collecter. We love getting these holidays for "free" as we don't think of the vouchers as money. We only spend what we would normally.

Definitely worth collecting. Just bought my hubby Seiko watch using Goldsmiths Deals for £235. He had no idea I used Tokens.
Also going to Haven camp with sons footy team in May. Used deals for that. Could have only got holiday £15 cheaper if using cash.
Used them for magazine subscription and Blockbusters rental.
Now saving up for holiday with www.xl.com

I've used mine for 3 magazine annual subscriptions which when paid for by coupons work out as a really good deal

i find its deffintaly worth collecting the points :) I tend to rack them up on the free toiletries on the handb leaflets 50points a go,so i can use a wadful on one trip. Ive had £40 this quater for the same amount of shopping id done last quater and recieved £5! ive treated myself to 2x mag subscriptions and a day out at chesington world of adventures for 5 people (its £29 each otherwise!) so ive had a baragain!!

I do all my shopping in a Tesco Metro which is a little bit more pricey but I don't have a car so have to do my shopping in dribs and drabs.
As I live alone I don't have a massive spend but what I do get I use to get vouchers for Bella Italia. I can have free Italian meals and it's a nice treat every now and again. Definitely worth it!
