It used to be possible to get home deliveries with extra 1000 points.
The supply seems to have dried up but even so I have more than 10,000 point on my current receipt and obviously if you save a years worth ...No probs.

    Just to add my experience....

I've only fairly recently taken an active interest in Clubcard points and deals offers. Tesco isn't my nearest supermarket and I only used to get around £5 or so every quarter so I spent these instore.

Last year, I noticed that Goldsmiths was one of the Deals options and made a concerted effort to earn extra Tesco points and ended up with a reasonable amount towards wedding rings.

This year, I've saved up for Butlins vouchers. I'm pregnant and thought a free holiday would be a nice bonus before we have another child.

I've just booked the holiday paid in full with Deals. It cost £280 for the full hoilday (£80 worth of Clubcard vouchers.)

Out of interest, I've just been online to see how much it would cost me in 'real money'. The exact same holiday would have been £93!!! The deals clearly aren't worth 4x the value on this occasion! :(

Overall, I've only saved an extra £13 from paying with Deals than spending the tokens instore. I would have been better off selling them on eBay at double face value.

It hasn't put me off 'Tesco'ing' - I'm getting addicted to the free toiletries and voucher hunting! - but I will do a lot more research next year to maximise value for money. It seems that Goldstraws is actually one of the better value options - but jewellery isn't really my cup of tea! Typical! :o

For years I got the clubcard vouchers and usually got about £20 a quarter, I saved them up and always used them to take us all the disneyland in Paris, now that I have found all about the on-line codes my quartely statement has gone from £20 to nearly £200, I have not spent any more money that I would normally (well apart from today when I spent £60 on batteries to get 5700 points, my partners school will buy the batteries from us at cost, this was too good a deal not to go for), I don't spend hours trawling for the codes, places like this site and paid to shop give me all the info I need to get the extra points. I have always shopped at tescos so for me, nothing has changed, it's even cheaper for me to have it delivered rather than me going to the store (I am very rural and tesco's is easily a 20 mile round trip).

I have only been doing the extra point thing for about 6 months and for me it is fab, I know that rather than waiting nearly 2 years to get enough points to take the kids to disney, I could (if I wanted to) do it each quarter.

It makes no difference to me if the deals are more expensive as I am not spending any of my own money.

We used to use our vouchers in the shop for money off, but as the kids are getting older we're using them for days out.
We will be going to Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and Longleat Safari Park this summer, all paid for by vouchers. Dread to think how it would add up if we didn't have the vouchers to change into Deals! Might even pay for some of our holiday days out as well!
Could have paid for our Haven holiday with deals but didn't find it to be good enough and the days out pay better in the long run.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

We usually spend ours on days out.
On our 4 day trip to London, we used Deals vouchers to get in the Tower of London, a River Cruise between Greenwich and Westminster Bridge giving unlimited travel on DLR and CityCruises riverboats (cost £1 + £25 deals tokens for 2 adults and 3 kids!)...I thought that was a brilliant deal as the DLR day ticket alone would have been £11.40!
We also used Deals Tokens for eating out (just paid for the wine!)

I'll certainly be continuing saving my points!!

Yes you can, but generally they are very overpriced + you will have to pay delivery charge wheather you like it or not.
