    Thanks for the response Taxi!

Well so far so good - have managed to go 5 days without a cigarette! £27.45 saved this week.

Also have sold some things on ebay and have made over £100.00 this week alone so all good!

I realised a couple of weeks ago that I was pay payment protection plan bullsh** for the past year on one of my credit cards - wrote to them to cancel it and they made a mistake and thought that I had cancelled it after my trial period - apologised and reimburdes my account with £183.00 now thats what I call a bonus!

My mobile phone has been halved this month and I havent even tried. So all in all this week has been a promising start!

    Total saved or gained: £313.28

Just hope that claiming my bank charges will be a straight forward process and my debt may be cleared sooner than i think!

You really did inspire me so thanks so much again taxi and to everyone else who has submitted posts on here!

  • hi Taxi
thanks for a brilliant thread, my car and house insurance aren't due until Novemebr so i've got to wait until then to try and save on them (and will go through Quidco to try and get more money back) i'm still tied in with BT and Sky for another 8 months so don't think i'll be able to negotiate a better deal with them yet, please keep this thread going until then to remind me how much you have saved and i can stay motivated to do the same at the right time
