thanks for that hypno...you are doing well...it soon mounts up..doesn't it?...I'm not putting it into savings but am paying every spare penny I can at the debt...obviously being in debt meant I was living above my means..so doing this means I'm no longer getting in debt..and none are big sacrifices...I was aiming to pay £9000+ this year and wondered whether I could do it...looking at these figures I can and should be able to clear more..my difficulty being SE means we don't have a fixed income ...sometimes we can throw more at it ...this time of year up until march we survive so as long as I can budget on a week to week basis spending as little as possible on anything..then as each credit card comes in ..(i pay min DD)...then throw all the spare at them ....then will do the same with the loan...sorry my cb card is set to take the full monthly payment
  • Well done taxi

I also made a saving of £50.00 by changing my house insurance, did this through Quidco so cash back to come. Every little helps. :T :T :T

Yes, I know what you mean - I am SE too - never any idea what I will have at the end of the month!

Taxi, that is amazing! Wow! You must be getting really far with getting rid of your remaining debt. This money saving lark is brilliant. Getting the best for less and having more to show for your hard work, things you need and use. Simple steps really do make the difference and seeing it all on a per year basis is incredible! Thanks for your post - it's inspiring!

That is a fantastic saving! Well done to you. If you can throw all that at your debts, plus earn a bit more through Quidco etc, you will be well on your way to being DF!

For Pigsback, have a look at the Pigsback thread on the freebies board. Look at the first two posts which list loads of ways of getting free points (and are kept up to date thaks to some hard working MSEers!). Then look at the most recent posts on that thread for the answers to the day's competitions and any recent additions to the site.

the answers to the current days competitions, and recent additions/finds are always added to that 2nd post in the thread anyway, its to save people trawling through pages and pages to find the goodies.....;)
