1 WM load done and on the line. It has taken some effort but the oven and racks are done. The oven isn't completely spotless but the grime is no longer, however next time/if we move again I am just going to book someone to come in and do it.

Going to have a cuppa and then pack up the PC table and all its bits while watching tv.

Thanks Valli he's 14 too . I'm going to keep busy, i'm sure he'll be fine.

The letting agent just text me and said if i pass all the checks i can have the keys Friday at 4pm :j:eek:.

Dsd2 just rang me and said OH offered her £20 a day to help me pack so she'll be down soon to help me tackle the understairs cupboards. :D

I've put filled the dw, put a load in the wm & td and wiped over the kichen sides. Quick coffee and then i'll make a start on the packing.

Packing should be so easy, all it involves is putting stuff in boxes so why am I struggling so much? I have put all the stuff from the PC area that we don't need into a box then remembered I didn't stop for my cuppa so am having that now while I look around the room to work out what else can go in this box. Maybe once I have finished this one I will bring everything that needs packing upstairs down here as I don't think the boxes will come down the stairs easily. At least if I don't finish before work it will be obvious to OH what needs doing.

Ah, but packing isnt that easy! Its like playing tetris! trying to fit everything in into the tiniest spaces in boxes and then forcing lids closed...I remember it well!
