I've spent too much time chewing the fat today but have had a lovely time. Friend gave me a £12 off £60 which I used at Sainsbugs so that helped a bit. Used up all my credit vouchers/coupons in M&S too.

Going to put the rest of the shopping away and the WM back on with a cuppa. Toying with going to get the kids shoes.

Hugs for everybody awaiting AS/A2 results tomorrow

Airing cupboard is clean so now I need to start processing the laundry rather faster. I think I might make a call about the ironing...

Gardener has been today and is coming round in the next few days to plan in all the indoor jobs, so I need to write a list tonight. I've left a message to order logs, so I'm slowly working through my list (very slowly)

i have done absoloutly nothing today. im knackered and feeling really claustrophobic (one of my PND symptoms) counting down hours till the kids are in bed and i get to be totally alone and not have someone wanting something or hanging off of me. feel like a right good cry actually but i dont have the energy. flying may have to wait and ill catch up tomorrow. ill see how i feel later on.

gosh the summer has gone fast hasn't it?

DD2 is in Weymouth with a mate's family.

My job to pick up her results - and now her mates results.

DD2's phone has no signal in Weymouth despite being on the same network and being the same model as mates phone which does have signal?

I think she wants me to keep the results for her until she gets back on Saturday...........

    3. Do a mini-job you have been putting off forever.. an email or letter or whatever! Not sure if this counts, but spent a good hour researching new recipes to add to our meal ideas. It is, after all, something I've been meaning to do.:o
    4. Make a start on a craft project you've been wanting to do for ages! Bit of a cheat, but technically it's done – a couple of nights back I finally finished the Skye cross stitch I've been working on for a couple of years (!) and commenced the one I bought in Brugge. I currently have about a half-inch square patch done (two hours work!!) Gods know when I'll get chance to work further on it though; there never seems to be any time.:(

I might have some spare spoons LW... I've just booked a cleaner for next week who it turns out may be able to do regular cleans, not just a one-off, and also arranged to have my ironing collected on Friday (I need to wash all the stuff that needs ironing before then).

So i'm slowly working through my frog list!

Might go and shove a few things back in the airing cupboard, inspecting them carefully before they earn a place.

    I am very happy
:j:jDS1 has got a job as an apprentice chef:j:j.

The restaurant is local and has a good reputation. He can walk to work so it won't eat into his apprentice salary. Any shifts he is asked to do outside of his working hours ie weekends will be paid at proper rates.

    :jI have 2 working teenagers:j:j

It was a team effort. DD1 ironed his shirt and trousers this morning and I gave him the pep talk before I went to work. It may be raining in Essex but the sun is shining brightly in this house!!!
