    Great new mumto5

Piggers... Have you told him that if he didn't let the grass get so long then stuff wouldn't be able to hide in it :p ... Then again, maybe now is not the time.

Log delivery booked for tomorrow morning... OH just happens to be here :) although he will be working when they're delivered and I do actually want to deal with them myself... I'm hoping he'll be able to fix the loo seat and put an extra screw in the wall for the shower caddy.

Hall almost back to normal, just need to locate one picture.

Ok.. Quick tidy needed upstairs and then I might just find myself a DVD and a glass of wine :)

  • Well done, Mum to 5's DS!

Just in process of sending takeaway back as they gave us someone else's (cheaper) order . I know accidents happen, but I am staaaaarvvvvinnnnggggg!

Everywhere pretty much clean, so did very little today.

Except for begging the chemist for something to deal with itching itching itching itching (dry atopic eczema, I think) and they produced a bath additive meant for psoriasis. Not itching so much now I've had a bath in it, but it really stinks :(

So, feeling roughly as sexy as a bucket of tar (and smelling like one), I am getting ready for an enforced courtesy visit to a distant relation (who does my head in) tomorrow. Oh, and we've had royalty traipsing around the locality. As if there aren't enough traffic problems with the main road still out of action from the riots!

I think I will go there/drag Minion out of bed early in the hope that we can escape early. She starts getting anxious as soon as there are more trees than lampposts. As for more green than concrete - hyperventilating! (Such a city kid, no idea where she gets it from)

Played musical doors with stooopid cat today. He's been going out and returning on the hour all day. Except when he decided to have a go at two woodpigeons. He can't fly, though :rotfl:

Just putting blobs of mush down for the cats and then I shall mostly be vegetating in front of the TV all night.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

:j:jDS1 has got a job as an apprentice chef:j:j.

The restaurant is local and has a good reputation. He can walk to work so it won't eat into his apprentice salary. Any shifts he is asked to do outside of his working hours ie weekends will be paid at proper rates.

    :jI have 2 working teenagers:j:j

It was a team effort. DD1 ironed his shirt and trousers this morning and I gave him the pep talk before I went to work. It may be raining in Essex but the sun is shining brightly in this house!!!

Congratulations to all the family. It's great to have some good news.

    Today I managed:-
declutter top of stairs and vacuum it
sort out shoe rack (5 pairs for charity shop - kids ones outgrown by everyone mainly)
washed all kids and our bedding
sorted all the odd socks (and put away)
    to celebrate I think:j:j
Hopefully I'll continue to get better and will be able to get back to work in our B&B by Friday and still be able to progress with the great declutter :D
Just about to sort out my clutter....honest!:rotfl:
