    history does not always repeat.

Well it happened at work. It happened here. Anyone laying bets on it not happening a third time - and what odds are you offering on that? Sometimes history does repeat itself (annoyingly often actually) and you seem to have demonstrated that point. You have handed out offensive abuse and nastiness to everyone, including those who went out of their way to try to help you. You are surprised that people react to being teated like s!!t (surprisingly - you could have learned that the first time around couldn't you?). And now you want the thread closed because you can't take it? You can hand it out but can't take it?

Your former company had plenty of grounds to sack you. Why the hell they went along with a redundancy/CA is beyond me.

Not the best use of their members money you would have thought.....

    Ouch!

Indicates that they knew exactly the wording a CA should have had though, doesn't it? But it probably was good money wisely spent - the pittance he got would have been cheaper than employing - ermm - actually one of my partners in chambers quite possibly!!!

    Sadly true.

Mind you, if you knew then what you know now you would probably have defended them pro bono!
