Yes, next time they might just pick up the phone themselves and tell them direct.

However from their point of view; it worked didn't it?

and if they did that the new employer would tell me what the ex employer had told them - as they did here.

it worked only because a) i 'lied'under pressure and b) there were issues with the way the CA was worded in that it offered a loophole.

    what should i say:)

    yes, ok i am:)
  • Now do you realise how easy it is for someone to find this stuff out? I am in no way linked to you, your employers either past or future but have now got a link to this forum and can read any of this. Is it getting through to you now, be more careful. Don't have public discussions where things are easily identifiable, especially about employment & the law. Maybe time to cut your losses on this forum and change the subject?

by law they will (if they arent already!) restricted from informing. ex-employer that is.

and the benefits system can be a very lucrative business, if you know how to play it right

No, not necessarily - they don't have to say anything.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

No, not necessarily - they don't have to say anything.

ok but im sure the organisation in question will ask who they are.

and if it is an inside job they will be wary of impersonating someone on the phone

its bad enough via email but what if new employer phoned them up and recognised their voice as the one who tipped off?

quite seriously if someone wants to pm me, do so i will tell you who my ex employers were you can phone them up and ask for a reference because you are offering me a job. we will then see who is behaving maliciously, me or the ex-employer!

and for sarel as you know circumstantial or indirect evidence is in many cases as strong as direct evidence.

and if you were my barrister that is the angle that id want you to attack the ex-employer on - the amount of indirect evidence that supports the fact that email came from within the organisation which would then indicate malice on the part of the organisation.

Well, it's a pretty good indicator, hence the trend in competence interviewing. ;)

In your case it shows that you exercise very poor judgement indeed. This thread shows that you are an awful communicator with a pretty sh1tty attitude to boot.

You've sewn yourself up like a kipper. Your former company had plenty of grounds to sack you. Why the hell they went along with a redundancy/CA is beyond me. But YOU caused the situation you are in, both then and now.

Hint - in future, don't p1ss off the people that have spent some of their free time trying to help you. Karma's a b1tch :rotfl:

thanks, i'll bear it in mind.
