    I NEED SLEEP !

I should say I'm just very very tried my oh working 16 hour days at min 7 days a week till it rains and I need a Kip x
How many children do you have? I used to try and grab a nap when the baby/babies were sleeping. I know it's not always possible.

Sleep deprivation is a really tough experience. (hence why it was used in military torture; most effective ;) ) Do you have a friend or a relation who might be able to give you an couple of hours reprieve?

Do you have any lavender essential oil? Just the teeniest drop on your baby's mattress corner could help. Are you giving him infant calpol to bring him pain relief in his last feed of the night? (Assuming he is old enough!) Are you massaging his gums with your finger, that can bring relief sometimes?

Maybe have a chat with your Health Visitor and see if there is anything she would recommend for your son just to bring him some relief and comfort and give you an opportunity for a daytime nap to get a bit of catchup.

Your poor dh, working all hours on a daily basis is going to be a huge drain on him too! The three of you are really going through it righ now with now respite for any of you.

Tell you what, to save you the press attention, I'll do that rain dance for you ... could do with a good soaking here anyway :D

If my neighbour repeatedly mowed his lawn at 5am he would be mowing everything he ever sat on.

I live in an area with quite a mix of owners/renters, the biggest pain to me is an owner who is a little tin god, the loveliest people are my neighbours who rent. basically it's not where you live but how you live that matters.

DIY at 9pm and mowing the lawn a 5am is not acceptable, not even when I am forewarned. If my neighbour came to tell me they were going to mow the lawn at 5am I would tell them to wait until a reasonable hour.

It is disturbing the peace. Lack of sleep or not I think you should ask them to do it during the hours of 8am (10 on weekends :0) to 7pm like normal people

On the flip side, it's not the neighbour's fault that you've got a teething baby.

    Are you sure :-)

Sorry just couldn't help myself on this one.
