  • Beautiful - this will look stunning when finished
  • Hello,
Thank you for your birthday wishes.
DD had a fabulous day from start to finish. The party was a success, and my crafty bits went down rather well. I am totally worn out now lol.
The best thing is I managed to get Lottie framed on Friday night, so she was sat waiting with the other pressies for DD, who was thrilled to see it.

I have tried uploading pics of Lottie, but picture bucket has had a total hissy fit, so I will try again tomorrow. I am now off for a well deserved rest!

It's going to take ages to do and I'm really fed up with it already. I may do a page of backstitch and then reward myself by doing another chart in my stash. Must get back to it now or I'll never finish it. See you all later.

Judellie - loving those footie characters, they are really cute.

OMG at all that backstitch to do!!!:eek: I don't envy you one little bit. I always backstitch as I go along, I would never get it finished otherwise :o It will look amazing when it's done though :D

  • Hello,
I am returning with pics as promised :D.
    Firstly Lottie finished and framed:

Then a few of the party crafty bits:
    IMG_5790-1.jpg
That is a little treat for the party bags, and contained a Cinderella slipper, a ring and a necklace with a shoe on it. Went down very well, especially with my nephew :).

    IMG_5788-1-1-1.jpg
These are the bracelets I made on a Tinkerbell theme, which were in the party bags.

    IMG_5787-1-1.jpg
These were prizes for my Snow Whites challenge game, I made them using very shiney ruby red beads from ebay and silver plated apple charms also from Ebay.
    IMG_5841-1-1.jpg
My homemade game, the apples were stuck on with blue tac, so each child could pick an apple from the tree and do the challenge on the back. 2 of the apples were win a prize (being one of the apple bracelets).

Tinkerbell's shoe buns, took ages to do, but well worth it in the end.

    And most importantly The cake:

    And the Lolly Tree!
    IMG_5847.jpg
With 146 lollies  on it. There are a lot fewer now! :rotfl: It went down very well, especially with the big kids! Everyone got a bowl of fairy dust (rainbow crystal sherburt) too.
Hope you don't mind me posting all these pics, I know a pp asked to see them. I haven't included all the crafty stuff I got up to, the banners and bookmarks didn't photograph very well, but everyone liked them.
I think most people realised how much work had gone in to everything, and loved all the little unique touches.
That said, next year might be a play gym affair, much less cleaning for me to do! lol.
Well, time for a well earned cuppa and 5 minutes with my new challenge, to stitch "On The Beach" before November! :o
Hope you're all having a lovely sunday,
    AM x
