    Arghhh need help!

I bought this chart, so now I am looking at evenweave, the site suggests 27 count and their size is 27"x39".

I have found some cream 27 count here but it is 27"x20". The chart says the finished pattern is 15"x15½". So will that 27x20 be okay???

I've never bought a chart only and then all the materials seperately, only kits, but it was much cheaper this way!!

    Thankies!

ETA: to shelly above, I got the chart from sew&so too, ordered it one, day, it was here the next! Talk about super quick! It was my first order with them, but it won't be my last!

Sew and so have the exact suggested size for £9.95

There is always a lot of excess though... if you get it bang in the centre there'd be 2.5 inches (6cm) (20 inches - 15 inches = 5inches/2) either side on the thin side and 5.75" (14.6cm)(27 - 15.5 = 11.5/2) on the wide side

I knew that sew&so had the suggested size but I was looking for a cheaper alternative, so just wanted to check that I would be okay with a smaller size, but thanks for that link, it also has a smaller size 19"x27" for £5.50 so I might just get that one instead :D

:j Yay for sewandso and royal mail. I ordered the frame and hh at about 10am yesterday and it's just arrived!
I know sewandso are good but I didn't really expect to receive the parcel until tomorrow at the earliest.

They are usually quite fast, I hope they are s fast with my order....I ran out of 535 for my mermaid so ordered some threads today.

I know they are more expensive than acrosstown, but I would rather pay the extra for the speed this time :o

Now I'm off for a quick late lunch (time flies when playing games online :o ) move the Tiger from one frame to the other and get to grips with stitching with my frame attached to the stand the other way round.
I'm sure the air will be blue a few times but I really must persevere!

To add to my previous post above......

The air didn't turn blue once! Took a little while to get the frame at a comfortable height but I think I have sussed it. It's really not that bad to stitch this way, I think I gave up quickly before because at the time I didn't need to learn to stitch any differently to how I was doing. I won't be stitching this way round for my smaller designs but at least I now know my larger kits will get stitched.

Soulie & Louise. I wish everything I bought online arrived as quickly. There are a fair few companies that could learn a thing or two from sewandso :D

Shelly, I've been trying to figure out what u could mean by right way and wrong way on your stand... But I can't. I got a floor stand the other day second hand and want to check I'm doing it right. I've looked it up on google and can only find 2pics of The Emu Stand online... And they have the angle bent different ways. Good luck with trying it the proper way!

Good luck compiling your own kit soulie.

    That's lovely of you Dragon.

Louise, can't have the postie slowing u down!

My across town order arrived today! :J 50 threads, 2 packs of gold plated needles of 2 different sizes, ordered fri afternoon, but the lady said it would be sorted on sat, so I'm quite happy for the price. All the threads look so pretty together. It feels like a challenge to sort them out. Can't tonight though as it's irish night :)

    Sorry for the confusion :o
I don't really think there is a right or wrong way but in my head I think of the online pics as the right way and my own style as the wrong way, purely so it makes it makes sense (to me at least :rotfl: ) when I chat about it on here.
To hopefully clarify things...I have this stand and in the picture the frame is attached to the stand by it's longest side, when I use my smaller frames I attach them by the shortest side.

I'd say use your stand however feels comfortable for you, I most certainly do :)
