That's great that you're so happy there. We like where we are now because it's so quiet! No noisy cars or noisy neighbours now, which is so nice :)
I live nearer Corby than you, and I've never even heard of the woodland project lol! Hope you've had a good day.

thank you. I'm glad to hear ur happier too.
It's the Friends of Throughsale and Hazleborough Woods group. They are the woods in the centre of town, near the boating lake cafe and the surgery. They're the largest area of real ancient woodland in an urban setting in the country and are very special. The group meets once a month in the summer on a sat and most days now till spring for cutting and burning to make habitat and nice spaces for people ect. I'm going to try to go once a week to get fit and be social.
We go to the Irish open mike music night in Corby too... My OH plays and i stitch! We're more social there than where we live!

Ooh, I'm very chuffed with the frame I bought, it is a stand! Short so not floor, so will have to figure out how I can use it. Either that or sell it on... It is this one, check out how much it sold for!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Emu-embroidery-needlepoint-workstand-frame-hoop-holder-/280711130017#ht_500wt_922

Ejs - look after yourself. Would it be possible to talk to your brother over the phone?

Sorry for cheeky question, would anyone have little bit of Madeira Lana threads? I would need numbers 3840, 3842 and 3890 very little each and don't really want to buy skeins for over 3£ each. I wold compensate all costs. Or I could go through my threads left over from kits and see how I could replace them.

All my Madeira threads are 'mouline', 'silk' or 'metallic'. Sorry. What does the 'lana' look like?

It is fluffy thread that you can then with special brush fluff up to make furry effect. They sell them in 200 m reels  So yep, I think I just replace them with my normal DMC threads.

Ah...now the spools are in another box! I've just checked & I have one spool of lana. It's 3804 so not a colour you needed, but you're welcome to it if the colour will do. It's a dark rusty orange/terracotta.

    Morning ladies!

Sweetcarer. Little boy blues bottom is coming along nicely...ooer, that sounds weird but you know what I mean :rotfl:

I have just ordered a new bigger frame and helping hand but resisted the urge to look at kits.
Not taking much notice of what I was doing I nearly ordered the wrong type of frame!
My excuse is I'm distracted listening out for a Parcel force van that is supposed to be collecting my cds for musicmagpie. I want them gone and a cheque in my hand instead :D
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Thank you for looking but I need three different shades of brown. I think I have some suitable ones left over from Frankie Hedgehog. I will sort out the threads at some point but not tonight as feel pooped. Just going to pour DD to bed (swimming lesson day - always late getting her to bed), sit down quietly for awhile and then stitch some of the wren.
