I haven't posted for ages but saw the new thread and thought I'd make an effort!

    ooooh happy new thread!

I'm being very very brave and listing a few kits on fleabay as I'm freaking out a bit about my debt - however i only managed to clear about 7 out and the rest I just cant bear to part with - even tho I'm saving to go to the cross stitch show in glasgow in October and have written a wish list out lol x

:rotfl: Marru, they are lovely designs. I would love to see some finished ones.

Happy new thread all :j Just intime for my new project. I am starting my London design tonight so that should be good. Will post an update soon as I am hoping to get a fair bit done over the weekend now I am not in work :D

well I opted for this for the new baby card new baby

I started it just after 9pm last night! and apart from the lettering, its finished :j BUT I'm frustrated. I wanted to include some welsh wording and I know what I want to put but helpfully the card doesn't come with a personalization alphabet :(

I've found an alphabet I can use although I think I can find better yet I'm undecided whether to put all the wording at the top (say welcome) then baby's name or whether to put welcome at the top and baby's name at the bottom below the grass. I've already stitched it! (welcome at top, baby's name at bottom but unpicked as didn't have it lined up right..... and I'm not sure whether it looks best like that (text at top and bottom!)

I'm also tempted to just stitch it as its meant to be - this personalization business is giving me a headache!

the other option is to find a smaller card mount and write (nicely!) the text ? what do you think

Quiet evening tonight for Flat Eric - so plan to pick next project - possibly frog design from latest cross stitcher or another xmas design!

    done.

have had a verrry productive day. started my online diary (kept meaning to do for agesss) and sorted babywiggle (henceforth known as toddlerwiggle/ tw)'s bedroom so we can put tinywiggle's bed together tomorrow. I know it's early but we want to get toddlerwiggle used to the thought tiny will be moving up there one day.

think i might break out the raspberry archers tonight.

wahooooo new asda opens tomorrow.. how sad is it that i have let nappies etc run low just so i have an excuse to go...:rotfl:

    Evening ladies.

A nice shiny new thread :T

I got a couple of hours stitching in this afternooon while hubby snored on the sofa. He's now prepping 1 of the spare rooms for decorating so I thought I'd catch up with my online stuff.

Raspberry archers sounds lovely chicky, not tried that one myself.
