I've set myself a target of washing up, hanging out washing, ironing and general tidy up. After that I'm allowed to cozy down with my cross stitch - but not before! Keep up the good fight, know it's not easy! x :happyhear

hugs all :grouphug:
Its been a long day today and I shall shortly be heading off to bed.
Just 2 1/2 days left now then I shall be finished for christmas.
I have to say that xmas and new year don't really excite or interest me anymore, I'm just glad of the break from work. Am I alone in this or do others feel the same?
I think I would be happy to shut my front door on the 23rd when I get in from work and not open it again or venture out until the New Year! Don't think it will work like that though!!
I am quite excited though because I have after lots of indecision bought a kindle! so I would be grateful if you would share any good reads because I have lots of tree books to be read and don't want to buy too much for the kindle but I am after some ideas of what to buy or read next. Something different is what I am after. Thank you and Merry Christmas xxxx0 -

I haven't been stitching that long but I'm using the DMC stitch bow system for storing skeins. I like them as its easy to cut off the threads I need as I go.Slimming World Target Achieved 13/09/12!0 -

I either use those cardboard holders or the DMC holders. I also use a empty marg tub with either little bags or money bags. I then sort the thread out into colours and put bits of paper with the thread number on it. So all the threads are altogether if I leave the project for a while, so when I go back to it I know what colour is what.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

Ohhh did you get the new one FE or the old keyboard one. I have a keyboard one but would love a new one but unsure how the searching etc works, saying that I hardly use the keyboardAs for books I loved The queens dollmaker recently, its not something I would read but it was offered free at some point and I loved it. If it drops in price/free I reccommend it
