Hi have been lurking in the background for the last few days but had to post today to let Louise know that I am thinking about her and her family. Hope I don't offend when I say that I will keep them in my prayers. You've been so strong for your Dad, and from what you have said your Mum has been as well. I'm sure that you will all get through this together.
Don't worry about offloading here, we are all here for you. Keep your chin up.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

my problems are all feeling very small in light of peoples news.
i've almost finished the tardis, but not the doctor. been having a few personal issues (aka selfish OH issues) and with work takign a lot of out of me i havnt got there yet. will see recipient on sat but even though we'll be away with friends i still hope to get it done, and perhaps i can wait till tues to give it to him?:o
dont have much time today, but have caught up but sorry to those on seveal threads that may hear this elsewhere too...
BIG NEWS!! the men to fit the wood buring stove are here today! they rang last thing yesterday as they had a cancellation!it did mean one hell of an argument with the OH as he still went to the gym last night despite needing to move furniture ect but it's all done now. wont get the stove today, as need a new lintel and raising and hearth laid, and plastering but it's a good start
fingers crossed it goes smoothly.

Louise, you and your family have been through such a lot - waiting for results after chemo and an operation is awful, and its the not knowing that makes it worse. Your Mum has been incredibly brave to keep her troubles to herself - sending you and your family mental hugs and positive thoughts.

Sorry to hear that Louise - hope everything goes ok for your mum (and dad of course).
I've heard cross stitch is quite therapeutic and relaxing in times of stress...
