thanks - thats closest one i've found too - but i dunno something about it just looks - weird (guess i have a minds eye idea what i want if that makes sense)

love this but if i could get a plastic one he could use his plastic animals.

I'll keep an eye out. Do you have a Christian shop anywhere near you? I know we have one in our local town, never been in, but they seem to have them sort of sets in the window, but more like people iykwim? lol.
Might be worth a try.
I like the little people one, but it is very pricey over here, in America toysrus stock it, but not here?!

Hi all, I'm really sorry if I depress you, I'm a bit short of people to talk to atm

Some of you will remember a few months back I found out my Dad had cancer - he has been through chemo then hhad a big op last week and thankfully came through it. He is still in hospital, very weak (he has lost over 7 stone) but doing well - it will be a few weeks before he gets a scan to find out if there are any cells left. The family had a few days of relief and we all started looking forward to Christmas knowing he would still be with us.

Unfortunately my mum has now found out she has breast cancer and will be having a mastectomy in 3 weeks. She actually found the lump a few months ago, but pu it aside until my Dad had had his op It has hit us all hard, especially my youngest sister, she is devastated by it all.

Sorry for offloading, I'm trying to carry on as normal but can't concentrate on anything much.

ohhh Louise <<<hugsssss>>. glad to hear your dad is feeling better but how sad to find out you have to cope all again (and poor your mum having to keep it a secret).

Thanks chicky - who needs Eastenders eh - I watched the Tanya/Lauren storyline and just last week said 'how can anyone keep something like that to themselves'

Actually you have made me smile, you got me looking at loads of nativity sets and they are so cute.

Couldn't find any that were what you were looking for but fell in love with this one for myself/DD. I'm due unexpected wages on Tues so have treated us (retail therapy!):o

Right I know exactly what I'm after and am off to quit my job and become a toy designer!! I WANT (if anyone ever sees one) - a scene made from plastic in the style of these kids toy animals...... hmmmmmmmm (schielc make one but tis £30-£40 without animals)
