Evening ladies
I have had to hunt you all out today, and I found you hiding on page two! lol
Well I haven't managed much stitching lately, and I did not finish my target of finishing the chair, thanks to my monkeys distracting me!
I am hoping to fit a few hours in tonight though, if this headach finally goes, hoping the painkillers work soon.
I have hundreds of "I will stitch" charts sat under my bed tooWith every issue of the mags I find at least one more to add to it.
And that is to go along with the yet to stitch kits and the half finished projects I find lurking in cupboards.
I confess I am a hoarder!
I hope you are all well, and enjoying a quiet evening of stitching, or out having a lovely time

Another Christmas one to make into a card plus a little butterfly from a couple of months ago...
I really enjoy doing these little ones. They're easing me gently back into x stitching. I bought a seasons kit from H*bbyCr*aft in the sale but not starting it yet.
Hope everyone is ok this evening and your headache eases up augustsmummy.

Once again spent the last hour catching up and now i've forgotten who's done what! All the pics look fantasic but I have to say I really, really love the stocking on the navy aida. I have a pattern for one but so many others on the go at the moment.
Seem to have lost a bit of motivation this week - the business is manic but I try and give myself an hour of stitching as part of my 'pacing myself' each day. Caouldn't see to do the Wizard (black aida) and the Rene Mac tile is gorgeous but i'm having hoop problems too. Remembered I have a MP Venice kit - UNOPENED - (how!?!) but I can't even get motivated to start that. Also some gorgeous cupcake charts - thank you- but I've seen so many of the real things in the last 2 days that they've gone a bit further down the list than they were
i did get WOXS through the post this morning so think I'll spend the rest of the evening flicking though that, trying to find my inspiration again.
Anyone else having problems now autumn has well and truly set in?
Oh, Happy Birthday for last Monday BikerChick, hope you had a great day. Did you get many stitchy pressies (other than the ones you brought at the weekend - very nice BTW).Cross Stitch Cafe 2011 - no 58 :A

The girls at work gave me £50 of Dunelm vouchers so will maybe pop in there at the weekend and get some bits for the house.
Also have £20 of M&S vouchers and some new slippers ready fo next Friday!
I still have £40 birthday money to spend and I'm looking for a tradional victorian style Christmas kit, but can't seem to find one atm. Any ideas anyone?Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December

Morning ladies.
Not posted for a couple of days so I'm commenting on things a few days old
Chicky. Troutbeck is looking good.
Ailsb. Love the Tiger! He's looking great.
Emily. Eeyore is sweet.
DizzyLizzie. Cute snowman and the butterfly is lovely.Speaking of stash, what do you suggest for selling some on? Do you use EBay or is there anything on here? Any suggestions would be most welcome.
I love ebay for kits. I find as a buyer I can get some very very good bargains but also if I find a kit that is no longer being sold then the bidding can go mad.
Having said that I'm not sure other buyers do as I do and google prices before bidding. I have seen kits go for silly prices that can be bought brand new from stitchy sites for less money.augustsmummy wrote: »I have had to hunt you all out today, and I found you hiding on page two! lol

Oh my! The H&E and TK ones are beautiful!!
I really would love to stitch something like that but I think I ought to work through my stash first.
At the slow pace I stitch I probably have enough already to last me my lifetime
No stitching here yesterday but I really wanted to!
I had lunch at about 2pm then decided to read a chapter or 2 of my book as I wanted to get it done. I nodded off somewhere along the line and next thing I knew it was getting dark and no time left to stitch! :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Thanks chicky

Ooh, BikerChick - have to say I'd pick a Tiffany necklace over stitchy stuff any day - lucky you! I cant find anything too traditional but there's a St Nicks Sleigh Ride in the new WOXS that's nice if you want a
I found a nice simple heart that's just blocks of 4 different colours so I actually did some of that - think not havving to bother with the chart too much helped me get on with it.
Only a flying visit for now as I'm supposed to be searcing for pics of Peppa Pig and George Pig as I need to making icing figures of them - argh!Cross Stitch Cafe 2011 - no 58 :A
