Hiya,
There doesn't seem to be a Consumer Rights question there, so I'm going to move the thread across to the vents board.Forum_Team wrote:

The OP forgot to preface the post with
"Are you sitting comfortably, then i'll begin"0 -
Isn't it a maximum of 10 of each discounted item? I'm sure I saw/heard that somewhere.
Also, does anybody remember that thread where somebody was complaining that their local cornershop was buying up all of their nearby iceland's bread, and selling it at a markup in their own store?
Tesco is presumably trying to stop that, too.0 -

i remember a similar thread, think it was the same 1, there is a maximum for special offers0 -
They should stop people buying up all the stock, to allow more people the opportunity of a discounted biscuit IMHO !0

You don't like Jammie Dodgers and yet you bought £10 worth of them? And you spend £120 at Tesco on one day and then another £100 the next? I'm calling shenanigans on this. It's a troll, run for your lives!0

tesco have the choice to sell to you or not ....its about being fair to all consumers.
Sorry, but this is total BS! If you think Mr T has any interest in fairness for their customers then they've managed to pull the wool over your eyes, well and truly!
Paddyrg has already given the correct answer - it's about making sure that the special offer manages to reach as many customers as possible in the hope of making them spend more money in the store and/or on future return visits.0 -
If there's a maximum number that a customer can buy it needs to be displayed.
Store staff need to be polite, there is a lot of competition out there.0 -

I don't drink tea but I often buy teabags when I go shopping as other members of my family drink it by the gallon.0
