Hfc - ppi

Options
Congratulation to all who have had great news about there PPI claims, getting a bit impatient as still no response from HFC either direct or through adjuicator. Wondering if any one has had any response from HFC lately. Dont know if they are just being ignorant and determined if they ignore claims they want have to pay. Sorry if l sound bitter but this has gone on for 15 months and they have lied cheated and l would love to get this resolved, but l am not giving up.

I've had a complaint resolved by them (for an old GM card) - not had the money yet, but they said to allow 28 days for payment.

Acknowledged 11 May, questionnaire requested 1 June, "16 weeks to respond" letter sent 27 June, offer made 3 August (cheque still awaited)

Hope they get their fingers out and sort yours out soon.

Started my claim with HFC last August they claimed the ppi was not is sold. Took it to the FOS who also agreed with me the i was mis-sold the ppi. HFC still would not refund me.

Was waiting for the adjuicator to make the final desion then i found out the banks had dropped the court case with regards to ppi so i spoke to the FOS and asked if i could contact HFC and ask them to re-look at my claim again. FOS said i could.

E-mailed HFC 4 times before i got a reply to say they would re-look at my claim. A few weeks past and i had no news so for 3 days i e-mailed them asking if they had looked at my claim.

Last Tuesday the FOS phoned me to say HFC had been in contact with them and now admit to mis selling the ppi and would be willing to refund me.

I have now sent letter back to the FOS to accept this and i am just waiting for the offer from HFC.

Have now found the deatils for the loan i had before this one and sent a letter of to HFC to claim back my ppi on that loan as well.

Keep on at them and don't take no for an answer.
