Grabbit While You Can

You can't really liken it to rioting, if you make an offer to purchase at a glitch price it is up to the shop whether they accept it, there isn't alot of difference between haggling in a shop.
You will always get people that rip the backside out of things and unfortunately it is in some peoples nature and it is that mentality you can liken to the mentality of some of the rioters.
We do use grabbits and glitches but we but the things we would normally buy at great prices, I don't want to turn this into a politcal debate but people have their reasons for not paying full rrp in a high street store, and some of that may be they can't afford to buy the things they need to or want to or that the things they want have a huge markup in the first place.Comping wishlist for 2017

glitches arent against the law and dont hurt businesesReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

If that company did not want people to purchase things at that price, then we assume they would not set up their system to allow it.
I don't agree with this.
Let say you leave your back door unlocked by mistake one day.
Does that mean it's fine for other to assume you intended to allow people to nick everything you own? Of course not. It was a mistake.
I am uneasy about taking advantage of some glitches.
e.g. groupon £8 for new customers.
Clearly this is intended for new customers not for anyone with 200 email addresses.
I think it's dishonestly taking something you aren't entitled to - morally.
You are probably safe legally.
I decided not to do that with Groupon.
Some glitches I'm happy to try, depends on the nature of it.
If I believe it's a genuine offer I'll for it.0 -

If you are going against the ts&cs e.g. one per customer then that's not right.
Yes it's their fault if they don't manage it.
But that's akin to saying that if you forget to lock your door or your car then it's fair game.
I'm sure you wouldn't want your property to be fair game if you made a mistake in protecting it one day - like forgetting to set the alarm etc.0 -

There was a small family business on here who were struggling to honor a glitch.

Of course you mean "robbed businesses".
Almost sounded like robbing Tesco or other large business could be more acceptable than a small family business....--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0 -
Also I think alot of "glitches" are actually well thought out by companies.
Imagine the website traffic they get, with lots of people ordering other bits too, probably works out cheaper than a few 30 second tv ads.MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0 -

If they had integrity in the first place they wouldn't have issues....robstersgirl wrote: »On second thoughts I'm actually quite offended at being compared to the low life scum who have murdered people, set fire to and robbed small family businesses and made people fear for their lives.
