    Hitman is saying no threats found

    Malware I did just now says that adware seek threat is showing should I remove that

    Yes, you mustn't have removed it the first time...

    Otherwise you should be fine. How is the computer running?

    Seems better thank you, you have been great today I really do appreciate all your time today. I would not have had a clue where to start and was worried as I thought I would have to find the money for a new PC.

    All you guides you do are really useful to people like me who do not know what they are doing. They are well written and the pictures really help. I hope others have found a lot on this thread as helpful as I have.

    sorry just had an email from talk talk saying that they are offering homesafe free with my package. I have to click the link if I want to use it, would you say to not bother as I have anti virus anyway.

    Never ... never click on links in eMails even if you trust the sender

    It's probably legit (the email) since TalkTalk have introduced this system, but my instinct is to say no. Just looking into it now, it's just an opt in system and doesn't require anything to install - but it's got a major weakness in that it's easy for malicious sites to tell when the 'talktalk homesafe' system scans their website.

    I'd sooner just use something like Norton DNS (http://nortondns.com/DNS-setupWin.html), just another layer of security.
