ok , download and install it again , if it still will not work try downloading it on a clean PC and putting on a CD or USB drive to transfer to the infected PC

    you can also try this

    http://www.superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html

    and do a full scan

what version of Windows is it ??

I have just looked at the one in the link you put on, can I download it to the infected pc as I don't have another pc to use.

If you get the chance, run Hijackthis to post a log (should take a few minutes at most)
    http://www.users.on.net/~russ/hjt/

Do as above with Malwarebytes/Superantispyware portable

Can take 2 hours for a full Malwarebytes scan ;)

Are you running Malwarebytes or Superantispyware? Just double check the results, make sure nothing is an obvious false positive as best you can, and clean all the suggestions. Either program will quarantine the results, so at worst you can restore anything if need be.

Post the log from either program, then follow up with the Hijackthis log please.
