Had trouble logging in this morning, got through login twice but then got the site error message up quoting the reference number mentioned in previous posts.
now I'm just gettingSorry, we are unable to show you that page...
We are working on the problem; In the meantime please try the homepage on our website.
I'm thinking maybe a 33:33:34 split between ICESAVE, ICICI and my own bank might be a good idea after all.
Don't have all your eggs in one basket springs to mind.

Yes always good to have a backup. Luckily, Birmingham Midshires is paying the same rate (within the first 12 months) and I've never had any problems with them.0

Russian roulette, anyone?

NB The Birmingham Midshires rate includes a 0.65% 'bonus' for the first 12 months only.0 -
Hmmm, seems to be working again now - though the log in was a bit slow.Stompa0

I tried several times this morning to log on and couldn't access. Haven't actually used my account yet but when I could finally access this afternoon it has now told me that for security reasons I need to change my password. For heavens sake, I already have a memorable name, place and date. I only wanted to ask them to change my account from paying monthly interest to annual interest. If this is the hassle I have I'm not going to put any more money with them. I do run a couple of other internet accounts and trying to remember all the passwords is a nightmare. Am beginning to wonder if it's worth it for the little additional interest I might earn.0

I've been having some problems with logging in and running the account online for upto about a week now. Sometimes the login page is not even available, sometimes it seems to timeout when logging in and the other times recently it has logged me in but is horrendously slow that it seems to timeout again.
I'm starting to think about withdrawing my money and putting it into my Yorkshire Building Society Internet Saver account which gives me 5.3% (which they have just started accepting new applications for). The tiny drop is acceptable if I don't have problems with managing my account, which I haven't in the 6 months or so of having it.0 -
The web site problems are now beyond a joke. On the few occasions I have managed to log in, the site has been horribly slow and I have been unable to actually transact. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that any incremental interest is not worth the additional hassle.
ICESAVE really need to address this. Shame. :mad:0 -
Tried logging in to my Icesave account for the first time in 2007 a few minutes ago, and guess what. Yep - cannot log in. As Deleted_User says above, they do need to address this problem very soon.0

Obviously posting on here does the trick!! After 2 failures to log in and then posting on here, I return to Icesave for another attempt and get to login straightaway.
Nevertheless, Icesave do need to get this sorted, as people's confidence is easily lost and a lot harder to re-establish. I can only assume the problem is down to the sheer number of people trying to access their accounts at any one time.0 -
There can be no excuses for lack of CS,getting logged-in,etc. but this reminds me when ING came to town.
It was absolutely overwhelmed with new accounts openings and just couldn`t cope.
Icesave is probably the same, your money is safe but it`ll take time to get things running smoothly.
I know it`s not good enough but that`s the way it is at present.0
