Sorry crazy_chick, not meaning to pick on you it's just that you're online now. We want you to enter lots of comps and win lots of stuff. We're a very friendly bunch honestly. There's just issues that come up occasionally with forum etiquette I guess you could call it.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -
no it's ok i know what you mean. i started doing a few because they kept popping up and i couldn't remember if i done them or not and then i thought i might as well do all of them.Winnings: John Deere Model Tractor:j

Please don't do all of them, just start using the Thanks button & try to recognise the titles of some of the ones you have entered. If you can't remember, you will have to click on it & see if you have used the Thanks button or not

can I also just say sometimes it is upsetting when you (me not you itms) post a comp and people get quite nasty because it has already been posted
to be updated:;)0 -
Crazy chick, If you click the thanks button it disappears when you return to the post. You can see at a glance if you have entered.0

................:D sorry couldn't resist. Thanks for bringing this up, i realise i have been a bit free and easy with my comments recently! I'll try and curb that in the future unless it's important, coz it can be annoying :rotfl:
Happy comping0 -
Is it just me misreading replies or were the reasons for all those thanks totally self centered at the expense of the inconvience to other compers?0

i usually say if a comp has been posted but always (well i think i do) put a
so the person knows i am doing it to be friendly, not horrible. Once i did it and i got a snippy post back, to which i pm-ed the person explaining that i wasn't being mean, merely pointing out that duplicate posting can invalidate your entry for some comps. It was a very friendly pm and i urged them to stick around, but they never replied so i guess they took the huff, never seen them on the board since. Guess I must be really mean.

p.s thanks strepsy for being subtle

Hi all,
I've just read your post strepsy and i thought it was very tactful
although i have to admit i'm one of the occasional guilty ones too.
It does raise the question i raised in my earlier post of suggestions to make the comps board easier/tidier. I thought the idea of sub-categories such as by the expiry month with a additional category for comps until they are seven days old. I like the idea posted earlier about having the daily & monthly comps seperate too.
I know the new mse is launching soon so is it likely that some of these changes will be included?
