I had 3 codes from seeing Meet the Robinsons and they worked fine. I actually won 3 park-hopper tickets. It's a bit cumbersome to enter the code.

It's draws by the hour for different cash amounts....click the union flag for the English draws.

I have been doing this now but I wondered if anyone knew of any more SPAM email or anything untoward coming from it?

Hope it's ok to post this here...and i did several seaches on Monsterwin before I posted this....it's a website which does have me curious though..
You always think you are doign well..sharing things, especially in competitions, helping others to find and enter them,...but there is always someone selfish and back biting who will object.
Oh well..and i thought this place was different...but it isn't. Shame on you...whoever it was...

    Hi
Have been on holiday for a week then work has been too manic to get on here much for two weeks, other than a few quick comps, but I always check who's won what! There's no way I can go back through all the comps I have missed so I just wanted to thank everyone for all the posts, good luck to everyone and well done to everyone who has won something over the last few weeks!!
    :T Thanks to all posters!!:j

    Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes...

I was wondering if it would be possible to have the competitions divided into categories eg
This weeks comps and the monthly expiry April,May etc?

I have read some previous pages from this forum and seen discussion of a sub forum and I wondered if this was the idea? It would really help those new to the site but by having a 'this weeks comps' section would mean the regulars wouldnt be affected either?

I think the thing with that idea is that it would be more work for people, although its a good idea in one way I think the board would get a bit chaotic with more sub forums. The other thing with having 'this weeks' comps where do you end 'this week', do you do it for in 7 days or for fridays?

sorry to pick holes in the idea, its a good idea but I dont know it would work that well

I think you're right Soozy it would be chaotic.

I wonder if something could be done with the regular comps board though. There used to be an index, (EDIT: Found it in Game Over) not that I can say I really ever used it. It might be possible to do a new index directing people to regular comps - weekly, monthly by date & bimonthly & so on  Some of the threads i update with new answers, but then I wonder if they should just be in the normal comping bit to be Game Overed. But then there are hundreds of game over pages & I don't know how often they get chopped off or if they just stay there?

I'd be more than happy to give it a go at some point. What does anyone think?

Well, I've been doing this for a few days now, and although it's easy enough to enter the competitions listed here it's much harder to find new ones! I thought I'd found an obscure one in my magazine this morning, that no-one would have listed here (In Grow Your Own, for the Eglu), but on searching I find it's been posted here already. :rotfl:

How do you go about looking for new comps?

Where do we find the comps? Ah well that woudl be telling.

Only joking, you can google for them, see them on a website you were visiting or even just remember the websites that have had competitions on them before and keep visiting them

Something else I have been noticing has been happening alot lately and get increasingly common is people sayng one or two word thank yous to the poster eitehr intead of just using the thanks button

What do people think on this, I know probably not alot can be done but do think that its starting to clutter the board up?

I'm glad it's not just me Helen. It's not so bad at the weekend (except for the last hour or so) if I'm online most of the day but in the evenings when I normally have 6 pages of comps to catch up on it really adds to the time it takes if lots of old comps that I've already entered have been bumped by people just saying thanks. I can never remember what I've entered and especially when my connection and/or the boards are running slow it really adds a lot of time to check whether I've thanked a post or not.

Edited to add that I've just gone back onto the main page to check for new comps and I want to cry.
