  • Hi, just a quicky, when you win a competition do you normally get sent an email or is it just a case of waiting for prizes to turn up?
Also, does it affect my chances of winning if i dont put a phone number?
    thanks

It varies as to how you are let know you have won competitions.

Sometimes you get an email through, sometimes a letter and sometimes the prize just turns up!

I always put a telephone number but have only had someone ring once and that was from Real People magazine after I had won a prize and they were asking if they could print my photo

If you have a Hotmail email address make sure you check your junk mail folder as sometimes (rarely) emails can go in there

Heeeeeelp, I have been subscribed to a load of comps threads - Aaaaaargh!!!!

EDIT: The subscribe thing is on glitch btw, you have to go to user CP and chande the subscription thing to Do Not Subscribe :D

Ahem, Hi Sweetangel, Re: above post, hello :D I would hang around here and enter a few comps before trying to post them cause to be honest most of them will have been posted already. You need to get used to searching the forums before posting :D
Also the 2007 comping challenge is to win back your annual internet fees in competition prizes by entering as many free online comps as you can :D

Im new to this thread, normally hang around in the freebies and discount threads. Which may I say for the last few days Ive not been anywhere near.

This is so addictive and everyone is so friendly. No arguments or petty back biting, it so makes a change.

Im officially hooked. I won = MTV tickets already, I have also won discovery meal kit to b delivered Thursday. (posted on here but I didnt know about this thread when I entered ):j

I cant keep up with the comps there are so many, when I catch up Im going to look for some to post. How do you guys do it ? your amazing.

Thanks again to all who post and for making me feel welcome. got some postcards Ill get round to entering postal comps one day - if I ever get on top of the internet ones.:rotfl: then theres the magazine ones and the text ones - Im getting dizzy thinking about them.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

Welcome weaver. We do have a lovely bunch of people on here. It is very hard to run out of comps. And if you do its only for a few minutes before someone posts another one. Well done on your wins, I hope they are the first of many.

Lo- bush the owner of compers grapevine posts on here. If you put a post on the main board, she will probably get in touch with you.

I don't usually have time to read this thread but the comping fairy must have seen me being mentioned and made me click on it! PM sent, although I don't think my mag was what the OP was really asking about. But hopefully they will like it anyway!
