I'm so pleased with myself, I need to share.
I've just set up a brand new gmail account just for competitions. Then I managed to set up Outlook Express so I can send emails from the google address - so I can finally use the lovely email clickies people have been posting. And then I added a signature with my name, address and email address in so I don't have to type it out every time.
This is really going to save me so much time. And it's a good job too - I have a lot of email comps saved up to enter from when my hotmail was playing up a few days back.0 -
Nice one Soozy. I couldn't do all that.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

Nice one Soozy. I couldn't do all that.
Nor could I, but I am really impressed with people that can. I still copy and paste my details from a word doc. Does anyone know how to add a signature like that to an aol email?
Edit: I actually managed to work out how to do this. Brilliant idea, thanks soozy.0 -

Have I won a prize??
A black and pink Vulture tee shirt arrived a few days ago with no information with it at all
Did get a Wilkinson Razor a week or so back too, but they did email me first. Perhaps I missed the Vulture email, but don't think so.
I occasionally dip in here and enter a few comps but didn't hold out much hope really.
A big thank you to everyone who puts info on this thread, soon I should have more time, so hopefully will be able to contribute.0 -
I reckon so Stilernin, sometimes prizes turn up out of the blue with no note or warning
:D:D (like my box of chocs I received with a little note from cadburys):D

Radio phone in comp tomorrow (Sunday).
Can you help with answer to this poser;
A person had something that was 21cm long.
They thought it was a world record breaker so sent details to the Guiness Book of Records.
They replied no, they couldn't accept it as the length of the 'thing' was 'flexible'.
What could it be??
And I've heard all the rude answers!! All wrong, as are a slug and a snail.
Can't wait to read your suggestions!!!:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -

worm/snake/spring?
Ta fluff, but no.
Comp started last Sunday and worm, snake, snail and slug were a few of the wrong answers. It's prob something totally obscure.
How long is a human tongue by the way - that would be obscure enough!:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0
