We had a TAB winner. I think it was earlier this week. Odds are long though as they get lots of entries. Try the Real People comps that are posted. we have had lots of real people winners. HJB123 very generously buys the mag, does all the answers for us and we only have to email them in.

I've just done a posted here, and the eejit that I am it was actually the same prize but a different website ..... but ( and this is probably gonna sound confusing!!) the websites are actually owned by the same people... in this case computeractive and vnunet

so my question is.... if they are posting the same prizes on all of their websites, is it actually going to be one prize for each website or one prize for the whole network of sites

    Thoughts please  :D

    Hi all!
My broadband was connected yesterday but I had major problems with the router which is now finally fixed. (the Techies board was so helpful!)
How am I gonna catch up with all the comps!

Arrrgggh. I know how you feel rainbow86.
My computer has been down for a week now and I've just been to see my computer doctor who is trying to fix it, and I won't get it back until at least next Tuesday!
    I'm definately getting withdrawal symptoms.

I'm sat here in the library, and it is soooooooooooo slow to load a page.
I daren't even look at how many comps I've got to catch up on. (A week of comps so far! )

Can't wait to get back to normal and entering loads of comps.
I've had a quick look at the winners page, and it's nice to see loads of people winning lots of stuff.

Hopefully I'll be back soon and able to report some wins at least.

Gotta go now my designated hour is nearly up!:rotfl:

I havent entered that many competitions but I got a phone call today from a man who called me by my first name and said did I remember entering a competition for a Caribbean holiday? I replied yes because I do seem to remember entering one. He said I hadnt won first prize but I had won a very nice other prize of a week's holiday for two I think all expenses paid to a resort of my choice. He said that I had to phone this Southend number and quote the code that he gave me. My OH said it was a scam and that I was not to phone. He checked the number and it was a Southend landline number. I did a 1471 and the caller withheld their number. Does anyone agree with my OH that it was a scam? I did try the number and there was no answer so decided not to bother.

I guess if its a landline you have nothing to loose. If they ask for any kind of money, even a small amount, then it is probably a scam. You could try googling the number and see if anything comes up.
