Tesco small wine bottles - glitch back on??

Posted this on the Pricechecker forum but thought someone might be able to help here. Want to go out shortly so looking for some help!!

I am new to the pricechecker game. Not new to moneysaving so can't believe I haven't picked up on this before - just had a little baby so perhaps that is my excuse!!

Is there a limit of receipts you can do each day? Was thinking about geting 6 of the Wolf Bass Shiraz (is it the yellow label?) and 6 of the Gallo White Grenache on separate receipts to maximise the £20 threshold.

Also don't think anyone has mentioned it but just spotted the Wolf Blass Red Label Chardonnay is £8 at Mr T but £5 at Mr A so guess this would also work? We prefer white to red.

Not sure if this is correct so would be great if anyone could confirm? So confused and baby brain is kicking in but every penny counts!!

Yesterday I bought 6x Montepulciano d'Abruzzo £8.29. Total-£49.74. After 25pc discount reduced to £37.30. After doing pricecheck got a voucher for £19.74. Effectively cost £17.56 for 6 bottles of lovely red Italian wine. BTW the Tesco were already reducing the price by 50pc-it was originally £16.58 a bottle. Get in!

Fingers crossed they extend the offer......will be down there tomorrow for some of those.

There was a big notice up in my Tesco saying it finished today and the manager was telling someone in the wine aisle today was the last day. Mind you if it does carry on they'll have a lot of re-stocking to do.

I asked could I not have an new receipt and she said there was no need as the price was the same. Didn't have the nerve to explain why I really needed a new receipt so off I went with my 6 bottles of the correct wine and a useless receipt :rotfl:

Unfortunately one of my GU deserts was replaced with a finest desert - I even put down that if substituted to substitute with something from the offer! Oh weel, I got two out of three and loads of wine.

Gonna try the price check now.

prob a daft question but does anyone know if it matters how the items were put through the till? ie above looks like it was put through as groups of 3 whereas mine were put through as single items (gallo, gallo, bh, gallo, bh, bh). Hope that makes sense :rotfl:

just had delivery driver with my 6 meal deals, however they substituted the pizza's with tesco's own and final price was £90+! so sent back Was so lookin forward to pizza and wine tonight.
Dont understand how they cant have just included the substituted pizza's as part of the deal :mad:

It makes no difference, as on the original receipt I have they are scanned in different order. That is just the way that the JTD software spits them out when done.

Off to do some more before the vultures empty the shelves.
