Sorry misread your first post if an item is price matched then they supply you with a similar item for the same price. If the price is less than original bill then that is what you get charged. But if you return the items then you get the credit refunded to the the account you paid on.
So in answer yes they do it for you.

The Ogio Pinot Grigio came back not matched - dont know about the others - only wine that matched on my receipt was Finest Chianti - & A's were more expensive
