Hi, Got my first Mr T's glitch yesterday 6 bottles of wine for £16, well chuffed. I looked at the Pizza Express deal but drink on offer was 6 small bottles of coke! Am I missing something? I even asked a memeber of staff and they said wine wasnt included in the offer
Yes it is! Silly Tesco staff :rotfl:;) It's the ones listed above plus a cheaper Rose, but the Ogio ones will give you the best discount. You can get coke in the offer but you won't get 25% discount!0 -
Sorry to be dull, but in order to do the asda price checker do you need to buy the same wine you bought in asda as you already bought in tesco, then do the price checker?
thank you for any help
It would be the tesco pricechecker you would use, as long as asda are selling the exact same wine cheaper you will get a voucher back for the difference. You don't need to actually buy the wine from both supermarkets.
I bought wolf blass in tesco which is £9.99 but only £6 in asda so a difference of £3.99 on each bottle.0 -
Yes I can, the last wine glitch, I tried various small bottles to test them, for future purchases!
The one I favoured (as did others in my family), was a Gallo wine.
It's called Gallo White Grenache http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=255244856, but is a rose.
Currently £6.48 in T's, and in A's is £6.48 BUT on offer at A's : 3 for £100 -
do we know whats coming back ok on price check0

mrsvanderkamp wrote: »So £57 is the discounted price? you calculate the 25% off the pre-discount (multibuy) price. "Your savings" is usually highlighted in red, so take that figure and add to the £57.00. You want 25% of that total. Then deduct whatever the 25% is from the £57. Deduct your £15 e-coupon and add the del charge - et voila! you should have your total!
Thank you, thank you! Such lovely people on this site..... (there is no wine smilie!)0 -
This looks a good deal if i've got it right.
6 bottles of £7.99 Wolf Blass red label chardonnay semillon = 47.94
less 25% discount = 35.95 to pay
Use the Asda price checker and as it is only £5 per bottle in Asda at moment you will get voucher back for difference which is based on the original Tesco price so receiving 17.94 voucher back.
So in effect the 6 bottles of Wolf Blass wine has cost 18.01.
£3 per bottle.0 -
Got a great bargain today , i bought 12 bottles of "the big kahuna" which is on 3 for £12, the discounts cam to £38.85 which took it down to £30.63 and i had a jtd voucher for £17.97 so actually paid £12.66. Just over £1 a bottle!!!!!
Can't seem to find the big kahuna at asda online, maybe im missing something here0 -
Very pleased with today's delivery! (£4.50 charge, loads of food too tho)
6 bottles at 2 for £10
4 mini bottles at 2 for £3
1 x 1/2 price bottle
Without discounts =!£61.69
- £15.14 (2for10)
- £3.56 (2for3)
- £15.43 (-25%)
= £27.46!!0 -
Well I went to Tesco to do my food shop but had my brother with me who was getting bored!! So I decided I would go back tomorrow and buy the wine then
I am a bit unsure of what to buy though to maximise my deal, might do a mix and match of large and miniture ones? I was thinking of buying all the presents I need for my colleagues at xmas, what are the chances of tesco doing this offer again before xmas?
:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j0 -

It is quite a good deal but seems silly to spend £35 just to get your money back when you could spend less in the first place and get some equal quality wine - there are several within the finest range at 2 for £10 that will only cost you under £20 to being with.0
