I think it is before the discount is applied, the pricechecker seems to only compare the 2 products and not payment methods and discounts etc. I entered a receipt yesterday which will hopefully be back soon with a £20 voucher and i will let you all know what is says.

Did you buy any of the Malbec? If so, can you advise if it was price checked against A's ES Malbec. It seems that they do sometimes PC Finest against ES products sometimes. TIA

    For sparkling wine drinkers - Mateus Sparkling rose 6 @ 8.79 = 52.74
    Less discount 13.18
    = 39.56 but 2 for £10 in A's = £30. Difference of 22.74 but as only allowed £20 in JTD, this is potentially 6 bottles for £10.

No, it would be 6 bottles for £19.56. You pay Tesco £39.56 then get a JTD voucher back of £20. Leaves a net difference of £19.56 not £10.

Yes, I've had problems with it too. There is a £10 one not allowed to post it on here but have a look on the codes board HTH

I tried to use the £15 code but says not allowed so used £10 first shopper code instead
    SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Good spot to op who mentioned this wine in their recomendations!

The gallo white grenache on 3 for 10 at as and 6.48 per bottle at ts would work out a good deal as 6 at ts for 39ish (on phone so no calc handy doing sum in head so rough figs) 25% off makes 6 bottles about 30 in ts but only 20 in asda so with a jtd voucher of 19 (difference between 39 and 20) would.make 6 bottles for 11 pound- bargain!!

Please correct if sums are wrong

I have just placed an online order for 6 bottles of the Mateus sparkling as my local stores do not stock it. My order confirmation looks like this:
    £52.74 for the wine
    £4.50 delivery
    Total £57.24
    - £10 ecoupon
    Total left to pay £47.24

There has been no evidence of the 25% off wine on the order confirmation. Is this normal? Is there any way I can find out how much I will be charged? TIA

Sorry if I am wrong but it is usually the products that are compared as per Nikki299's quote above, before any discounts are applied. That was what happened the last time and for all of the £10 meal deals with the TR wine.

Hopefully someone will be able to verify this once the PCs come back.

    Just ordered online:

    6 x gallo grenache rose £38.88
pizza express meal deal £10 (including the ogio sparkling at £9.99)
then a few bits to take the total to £50.11 +£5 delivery total £55.11
    minus £10 e coupon £45.11

then thinking/hoping my bill tomorrow should be minus £12.21 (if also get meal deal wine discount) making total now £32.90 to pay minus the 18.88 jtd voucher (have checked and my meal deal items not on asda website) makes final total of £14.02 for a meal deal and 7 bottles of wine!!

oh meant to ask do you do the pricechecker from an online shop the same as a normal shop? ie the numbers should be on the invoice/receipt thing your given?

Went out of my way to try the hall green store to discover that they was not doing the 25% off. Went to customer services and enquired why not and was told this is down to the store manager discretion and only the larger stores was offering this deal. Funnily enough the store had just been refurbished to make it a so called bigger store i stated and just got the usual sorry and shrug of the shoulders.

I am fast losing the will to shop at tesco's espeically after big advert in the metro yesterday promoting this 25% off.:mad:
    Keep right on :T

It is definitely not just the bigger stores, because I have bought mine at a little Tesco metro store.
