    For sparkling wine drinkers - Mateus Sparkling rose 6 @ 8.79 = 52.74
    Less discount 13.18
    = 39.56 but 2 for £10 in A's = £30. Difference of 22.74 but as only allowed £20 in JTD, this is potentially 6 bottles for £10.

I asked a question on the thread yesterday re this, as I dont know if they calculate JTD before, or after the 25% discount has been applied.

    Does anyone know please ?

Have i done my maths right, just ordered 10 bottles of £7.79 red.
    10 x £7.79 = £77.90
    25% disc = £19.47
    2 for £10 = £27.90
    £10 off 1st Customer
    £5 delivery charge
So should i be paying £25.53
    Thanks

Won't the difference be calculated on the Tesco price, after the 25% has been taken off?

I can't answer for this time but during the last 25% off at T's, they calculated it before the discount. At the time, it was against the 3 for £15 range at A's.

Many thanks, could well be worth trying :)

I think it is before the discount is applied, the pricechecker seems to only compare the 2 products and not payment methods and discounts etc. I entered a receipt yesterday which will hopefully be back soon with a £20 voucher and i will let you all know what is says.

    Initial cost of wine £44.42
    Less 25% £11.11

    Discounted cost of wine (2 4 £5.00 etc) £34.49
    Less 25% £11.11

    Nett cost £23.35

To do the calculations just add up the cost of the wine individually (before any multibuy offers) then x by 25% to get your discount then just deduct the discount from the actual multibuy cost of the wine. HTH

Can anyone reccommend any rose wines? Thanks!

For a really nice light rose, try the Pinot Grigio Blush - I think T's only stock one which is the La Gioiosa. £4.49 bottle so 6 should cost you £20.20. It more dry than the Zinfandel types (which are quite sweet imo) but very light so easy to drink. :)
