Can anyone confirm if this works online??????:)

    Yes it does!!
Just had my order delivered that I made last night for 12 bottles of the 3 for £12 wines! 25% off the original price of the wine plus the 3 for £12 discount plus £15 off 1st shop discount has made my wine about £1.75 a bottle!!!!!:j:j

I think thats what I got it to come to, I am doing my food shop tomorrow and I can't decide what to go for? I was thinking 3 of the sparkling rose and then 4 of the silver bay but I am sat here trying to work out how much it would cost so far I have got it to : £13.50 can anyone tell me if I am right?

    Thanks

TBH i think that Silver Bay is a pile of cr*P! You can get yourself 6 x San Antiono Valley (T's finest) at 8.29/ bottle but £17.56 for 6 after the discount, so for a few extra quid (and a much much better bargain) go for something you can actually drink! (and might make you a little tipsy in the process - you'll need an awful lot at only 8% :rotfl:)

never ordered T online before. there is slot available at 10 in the morning (when im at work) parents will be at home to accept delivery. if when i get home they have substituted an item/or glitch no longer working can i return it to store in the evening as parents dont know if i would want the subtituted item. sorry if its a silly question but never ordered tesco online before.
  • Please can someone tell me where to find the £15 off a first order discount code as I can't seem to find it?

When you are ordering the wine, at what point do all of the discounts come off??? They don't all appear to be coming off prior to entering payment details and confirming order.....which is making me somewhat nervous that not all of the discounts mentioned will be applied - thanking you in anticpation of your helpful responses :-)

A lot of people like silver bay! not everyone likes a wine thats so dry it strips the lining of your throat, stop saying its !!!!!! etc and let people make their own choices, some people like the taste and some people prefer a cheaper wine !!!!!!

    So thats
    3 x £4.99=£14.97
    4 x £3.49=£13.96
    £14.97 + £13.96=£28.93
    £28.93 x 25% = £7.23
    3 for £12 + 2 x £5 = £22
    £22 - £7.23 = £14.77 to pay

No reason why it won't be working - I thought about it today and if T's are quite happy to give you an extra 25% off their "half price wines" (they even advertise this) then I don't think they care about the 2 for £10 or 3 for £12 deals either - I imagine they have a huge markup and the numbers they will shift during this promotion will be unbelievable. Sorry, that doesn't really answer your question, but unless you are using a code for extra discount, why not just pop into store? Although, as long as you have your receipt I see no reason why you couldn't return it.

point taken!:o indeed each to their own. But surely 8% barely constitutes alcohol?? and when it's only £2.50 a bottle to start with, where's the fun in that? :) (in fleecing Mr T that is rather than the fun in getting drunk - it's not big and it's not clever kids!)
